Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product if it were full I use this brush on glue all the time. Today Sally's only had the tiny .21ounce bottle. I paid $3.49 cents for this tiny bottle and it's only half full. While the product works good for me I would like the bottle to at least be full. Buyer beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've Found I've used several brands of nail glue and have to say that this is the best I've ever used! It dries fast and once the nails are on, they're ON. I'm so glad I purchased this product. I had my doubts because it was a brush on (just like nail polish) but I was very pleasantly surprised with the results. Trust me, you'll love this product if you give it a try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long-lasting, dries fast, and many uses I've used this on my acrylics for about a year, but today I ran out of monomer and looked for alternatives so I used it as an overlay. If anyone is interested, I looked at videos on dip and tip to figure out how its done. You apply the nails and shape them then apply a layer of the glue and tip your nails in the acrylic powder and then I hit the nail against the lid to dislodge any excess. I do both hand and then go back to the first and did it 4 times. It's too thick, but that's because I did too many layers, 2 is pobably sufficient. It needs very little buffing after you apply and all 10 fingers were done while watching a couple episodes of Parks and Recreation. After finishing the applicatino and before buffing, you do need to spray the acivator to make sure the acrylic doesn't stay soft. I read a tip that you should hit something against the nail and if the sound isn't sharp enough, the nails aren't hard enough. Since my nails today were a no-buy experiement, for the activator, I used the activator from the light-less gel kit also sold at Sally's. It worked perfectly. I did apply a couple of layers of clear polish since I've heard that applying acrylic this way is more porous so it picks up dirt and oil easier. I was impressed with how long the bottle lasts too. I took me many months to finish the bottle and while at the end, the glue was a little thicker, it still went on the nail smoothly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from others have failed in comparison I am new to the nail industry and while attending school, this was the glue provided to us to use. I have practiced alot over the last few months. I have purchased other glues, trying to save money and they failed to work as great as "ibd". The salon owner where I will be working bought me a few things as a gift to start out. 10 tubes of some kind of glue, which after I used it on one lady, 4 of the 5 popped off within 5 minutes! I went back and put some "ibd" on and those tips stayed put. I love it and will continue to use it. I guess the old saying is true...."you get what you pay for". Thanks!

How long would this nail glue last, assuming I do things with my hands such as writing on a daily basis?

Asked by: boiiiiii
I've found the brush-on glue to be a great on-the-go fix (and less risky to carry in my purse). However, it's not as durable as the Ultra Fast formula and more subject to the natural moisture that accumulates on fingernails (hand or dish washing, warm temperatures, sweat from exercise) and causes the glue to fail. On average, it holds for two days, maybe more if I'm being very careful (or very lazy). It's always a good idea to be sure your nails are very dry before applying the glue.

For natural nail splits. Product I have used for years comes in a bottle like nail polish. Templique' Brush On Nail Repair is the name of the product. I don't think it is the same as nail glue. What do you suggest? Thanks.

Can this be used with gel powder??

Asked by: Lauripita
it can, but i'd reccommend using a uv/led gel system. it can be used with repair powder/acrylic dip, however the ibd gel-resin is easier/faster for building an strong overlay.
