Rated 1 out of 5 by from Have to apply multiple coats. I bought the color radiance is my middle name and I had to paint on 3 coats and it still was very thin coat. Just note if you plan to purchase a light color, you will have to do multiple coats.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong color? I ordered this the other day and when I received it the polish looked yellow. This polish is supposed to be white. Disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used a few different colors and a glitter! Like with any neon color you have to use several coats. I used three but it is so worth it! It is more neon than it looks in the pics. I also used a glitter top coat front gelish that has small silver glitter with bigger random holographic glitter. Love this combo for summer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color turned brown :( I love gelish polish, and I have quite a few. I do wish they were more pigmented so you don’t need 3+ coats, and I wish there was a larger color selection. My biggest issue, recently, was that this gorgeous color “Creme de la femme” looked amazing when I did them, but they turned brown after less than a week! I have to idea why! It’s quite frustrating. I might give it another go but I will probably return this item.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wrong color The colors seem to rarely match the bottle. They are extremely different. I’ve had green that wa sacrially blue, pink that was orange. It’s very frustrating as this isn’t cheap polish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful colors, stays on 2 weeks no problem. Bought a few colour a of this product already. Loved them all. Some colours are a bit thin so you might need 3-4 coats. It always works better to do more thin coats than thick coats. This product will work with the other gel polish base and top coats. Use LED light for longest lasting polish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mauvy-mauve looks nothing like the bottle colour This looks nothing like the colour on the bottle. I was expecting a nice and moderately deep toned mauve. This is a Nude colour (3 coats in! All steps followed!). The pic is also 2 days after application - did not get deeper. :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough pigment the "tiger blossom" is my favorite bright red-orange and is the perfect color for summer toes. but takes about 5 coats to achieve even color and coverage. Putting on that much makes it not very durable and more likely to peel all at once. I can get ~7-10 days out of it, compared to 14+ with other brands. Overall, unless it's a super unique color/shade I'll be going with a different brand.

How does the buy 2 get 1 work? I can only select one colour and I would like to participate in the deal. Thanks in advance!

You select your polish colors from the drop down box, add them to your basket. To receive your free polish you must add the 3rd polish to your basket- once you go to check out or view your basket the cart will auto adjust the price to reflect the 3rd free polish.

I have a question can I use this to put on my nails an well it be like a overlay an well it help my nails grow

Asked by: Mrs cupcake
It will help prevent breaking of your nails because the added thickness of the polish makes your nails have more strength. It looks like regular polish but is thicker- but not as thick and hard as acrylic overlays. It feels like you have a layer of flexible plastic adhering to your nails.

My manicure is lasting for 2 days.  It is coming off in big hard sheets.  I Rough upthe cuticle beds, nails are dry, wiped with alcohol to remove any oil, gel polish base coat, color, then topcoat applied.  Everything looks great.  Why?

Asked by: Cheryl Smith
It sounds, to me, like you're putting on coats of polish that are too thick. Personally, it took me about a month to figure out the right ratio of coats; I apply 3-4 *super thin* coats of foundation, then top coat. I check for any imperfections, buff them out if necessary, then apply a 2nd top coat. I also turn my hand upside down for about 15 seconds before curing the top coat. The top coat just goes on more thickly than the foundation, so this allows it to self-level to the natural curve of your nail. For me, if I don't do this, I end up with really thick gel on the sides of my nails, and it's very thin on the top of my nails. I've found that not doing this can encourage lifting. Also, I don't get 2 weeks out of my manicure as I'm too hard on my hands (especially the caps!!). However, I only do a full take-off every other week or so; instead, once a week, I rough the surface of my nails, paying close attention to the cuticle area, then use pH bonder, foundation if needed, and one more layer of top coat. This will keep me going to 2-3 weeks. Good luck!

Can other brands of polish--either gel polish or regular polish--be used with the Gelish bond and foundation products?

Asked by: luvmynails
Hi! There is a technique called the Gelly Sandwich. You can look it up online but, basically, after you do your foundation coats, you clean your nails with the cleanser (or straight alcohol), then apply regular nail polish; do not cap the tips! Note: for the best success, you MUST allow the nail polish to be *completely* dry! Then cleanse again, use your pH bonder again, then top coat, and cap your tips. Following the rules set above, a manicure will last up to 2 weeks. Good luck!!!

I thought Gelish products could soak off with water. Why are some customers who posted here soaking them off with alcohol?

Asked by: luvmynails
Definitely doesn't come off with water. You have to use acetone. It soaks off with acetone.
