Staple Thinner
Nearly every polish I use tends to goop up during application, which means I use this every time I do a manicure. I typically use about 10 to 20 drops per bottle. That sounds like a lot, but it takes me about a year to finish up a bottle with once weekly use.
This is my go-to for gently thinning polish. I use it for anything 3-free, with glitter, and for my top coat (SH Insta Dri). I would recommend a harsher solvent for heavy-duty thinning though - I use Seche Vite's thinner for dried-up polish, base coat, and thick top coat that becomes extremely goopy (like SV and Poshe).

Weak Thinner
I bout this to revive an old favorite nail polish of mine that was getting too thick for effective polishing. The bottle says to use "1-2 drops and add more as needed." I ended up using somewhere between 45 and 50 drops just to get this down to a usable viscosity. I wanted to save a few dollars, but may have to try a higher end brand like OPI that may be more effective.

Can I use this to thin out gel nail polish?
No, this contains different chemicals than what are in gel polish - you'd need to use something like Beauty Secrets Gel Polish Thinner which is formulated specifically for gel polishes.
