I have powder dip Nails & now all the shops in KNOXVILLE are closed I need 100% strength to soak Off. Can I pick up the product at a store

Asked by: Anonymous
You can use any brand pure acetone polish remover to soak off the dip powder. Just remember to soak with Cotton  balls and foil for 20 minutes before your remove. If not you will damage nails.

does this product remover shellac nail polish?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it does! This is my favorite brand. I use a soaking tray, and it does take a long time (but I use a "builder gel" as well because I have really poor quality nails that break very easily. I have never had any luck using the cotton-ball-and-foil removal method, which is why I started using a tray. Anyway, I only use this particular acetone these days (and have for the past 5 or 6 years).

Will pure acetone remove acrylic nails?

Asked by: Oldemor1
Yep I just used this to soak off my acrylic the other day. I'd suggest filing off the bulk of the product first and then soaking the rest off.

Is this used to remove gel nails?

Asked by: Linda Johnson
Professional Nail Tech here - it will dissolve ACRYLIC nails (powder and monomer liquid that hardens once combined, without a lamp), but it will not dissolve GEL nails (goopy gel that has to cure in a lamp). GEL nails must be filed off.

I spilled some red nail polish in the carpet quite a while ago, does anyone know if pure acetone will help to get it up out of the carpet?

Asked by: spphrprncss22
No, unfortunately for you, acetone does not remove nail polish from carpet, especially since the stain is red polish and old. It has completely soaked the carpet fibers at this point and if you try the acetone, it will only wet the surface fibers and smear the color. Your best option is to cut out that square of carpet and replace, put carpet glue on the edges of the replacement piece and glue those edges into the edges of the square you cut to hold the replacement and keep it from lifting, etc.

does it clean up nail polish faster like when you mess up on the side of your nail and you get a clean up brush you dip it in acetone will it wipe away faster than just using regular nail polish remover

Asked by: veronica art
Most nail polish removers are made with some sort of fingernail protectant and acetone, meaning the nail polish remover takes a little longer to work. With pure acetone, there is no dilution, making the product work faster and more efficiently. So, in answer to your question, yes, acetone will work faster than just fingernail polish remover.

Isn't this just as good as regular nail Polish remover?

Asked by: veronica art
It depends on which nail polish remover you are referring to. This one is just acetone. There are other brands that are pure acetone as well, and they should all work the same. Some polish removers contain acetone along with other ingredients, and some are acetone free. They all remove nail polish, but there are slight differences. For example, pure acetone can also remove gel nail polish. It just depends on your preference.
