Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff means business... Best fluid for removing everything - glue, acrylic. gel. Stinky, but job well done. Use caution, it WILL mess up your furniture. (Did a number on my wood dining room table, oops).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pure Acetone This is for personal use and I'm pleased with this product; although sometimes it seems to take longer to remove the nails, but it gets the job done. The larger bottles are a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed!! I am so happy I bought this. It is exactly what I was looking for. I was unable to get my toe nail polish off in a reasonable amount of time with regular drug store polish remover. This does the trick! So quick and easy, I was so happy with how quickly I could redo my nails with the help of this product!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Nail Polish Remover It does what I need it to do and that is taking off all of my many coats of nail polish. However, it is drying just like any other acetone remover is but what I do is use one of my cheap cuticle oils. I brush the oil around my nails and underneath not on top of them. For me it makes it less drying on my skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Price Tried some of the new gel nailpolish, only to find out that regular nailpolish remover won't budge it. Purchased this, it worked like a charm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Water! This product is really great! but i find it more effective if you pour the product in a glass bowl and let it sit in hot water. it will activate the product and your acrylic nails will come off alot faster. it took me all about maby an hour to take all of them off completley. if your nails are really long or grown out, cut them down as short as possible. that way, the product has less acrylic to take off. it will smell a little bit, but no more than if you were at a salon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Gets polish off fast. Gets acrylic off nails when left to set in the solution for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product After trying the regular 'Beauty Secrets' acetone and not finding it very effective, I bought this pure acetone and I am very happy with it. I use it to remove nail polish. It's especially good to remove glitter nail polish which can be very hard to remove with regular polish removers. So good at removing polish that I can easily change colors every day if I wished. I guess the only down side I can see for some people is that it will dry out your nails and the skin around them. But I easily remedy that with lotion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Purchase I bought this product to take gel nails off that I'd had done professionally. It took several hours for the nails to come off using this product. I'm not sure if that's normal or not but that's what happened. It does eventually take them off though. It works really great at taking off nail polish (even darker colors). It dries out skin really fast. So you need to use a good moisturizer on your hands after using this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disapointed I love this product the only thing is the child proof cap LEAKS!! What a mess. I have an old bottle and I have to wait until it is all gone and pour the new stuff into the old air tight bottle. Im suprised more people havent said this. Hopefully it will improve in the future because this product is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth your money... I use it in my nail shop for a polish remover and cleaning acrylic brushes.
Date published: 2010-05-24
Rated 4 out of 5 by from the price is good and it would probably take regular polish off good but it took forever to get my nail tips off(5 hr)maybe i just put them on to good or something.the stuff makes your skin cold and you can watch it evaporate from whatever you pour it in.it was my frist time taking off nails so maybe if you knew what your doin it'd work good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best! This removes all polish fast, even really dark colors like black without smearng it all over my fingers. It's cheap and great and will last for a very long time.

Is this used to remove gel nails?

Asked by: Linda Johnson
Professional Nail Tech here - it will dissolve ACRYLIC nails (powder and monomer liquid that hardens once combined, without a lamp), but it will not dissolve GEL nails (goopy gel that has to cure in a lamp). GEL nails must be filed off.
