Can I use Pure Acetone to remove powder gel during this COVID 19 time - I have about a quarter inch of nail growth.  Please advise.

Asked by: LatinaPJ
Yes, you can. You can microwave plain, uncooked rice for about 2 minutes, then pour acetone in a thicker ziplock bag, add a few used dryer sheets and soak your nails while rubbing with the dryer sheets. Everything will be removed in no time! Also, make sure you buff the top layer off before you begin.

Does acetone go bad and it doesn't work?

Asked by: Rachel12345
I have never had any go bad and in one case I had a bottle for almost a year and it still worked. The only thing that could happen to it that I know is it may evaporate if the cap is not put on correctly.

Does this product have a seal on it I bought the 32oz?

Asked by: Torijef2
Yes it has a seal under the cap, but I would suggest transferring it into a more secure container after breaking the seal since I have had leaks if it falls over

A gallon (128 oz.) of acetone is equal to 4 quarts. I am not sure if this answers the question but hopefully it does.

Does this remove powder nail polish

Asked by: Buddy6822
Yes it does. I file the top layer just a little. Then soak in the acetone for 15-20 minutes. It comes off pretty easy after the soak.
