Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This! I love this! I do Orly Bonder Base Coat, two coats of china glaze polish (or whatever you have), two coats of this top coat. I do let the polish dry in between coats for a couple minutes, not long. I did find that while the top coat cures in the time stated on the bottle, the layers underneath take longer. I do this and it seems to solve the problem: after nail polish has been applied and given a few mins to dry, apply one coat of the top coat. Cure 2 minutes under UV. Apply the second coat of top coat, cure each hand for an additional 4 minutes. Go one more round if you think they aren't quite dry. I have used this method and then left for work (as a waitress) and my nails were still perfect at the end of my shift. It really does work! It is long wearing and totally comes off with relier polish remover. A must have!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Top Coat! This top coat is in fact a good choice if you know how to use it. You must wait until your polish is dry!! Trial and error led me to discover this as the instructions state to use on freshly manicured nails. I have the best results if I apply this the next day. If you apply too soon, the polish underneath is still tacky which leads to smudging and indenting - plus when it fully dries it will chip easier. Right now, I painted my nails on Tuesday, did the top coat on Wednesday - it is now Monday morning and I have one small chip on my right thumb (I have had multiple baths/showers, done dishes etc which I do not wear gloves for. I cure mine under a led light, only because I am too lazy to dig out my uv lamp but also led is better for your skin! I do like this version better than the original, it doesn't thicken and to me it doesn't smell as bad either!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Top Coat This top coat worked very well with the ASP Mini LED Lamp. Cured in exactly the time stated on the bottle. Cures to a very High gloss finish. Love this top coat!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy the non UV top coat instead! After using the Seche Vite top coat for years, I thought I'd try this for a change - who wouldn't want dry nails in three minutes? After going through my regular manicure routine I applied the top coat and cured with UV light. The nails were dry, but smudged very easily. I also got chips the very first day, which I don't get with the regular top coat. Save yourself some frustration and don't bother with this one!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me I have used this product twice and each time has chipped. I have read the instructions on what to do and I still chip in 2 days. I have a nice shine and my color looks great. I simply cannot win with this top coat. I will continue my search for the great top coat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Was excited to try this product. It chipped and peeled within 8 hrs. Tried applying it to wetter nails, lasted 15 hours. Tried once more, and again it did not last even 24 hours. Will be sticking with my Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat that minimally last me 4 days chip free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stuff! This top coat is great! Can use it with your regular polish (you don't have to buy new polishes!) Makes polish last a lot longer! Normally I have to redo my nails in 2-3 days, but this top coat makes them last an entire week! Dry time is only 3-5 minutes (a little longer if I use more than 2-3 coats.) You don't have to wait for your polish to dry, just set enough to put another coat over it. I paint nails with several coats of ridge filler and polish and have them completely dry and hard (no smudges) in less than 30 minutes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable I have always wanted to try the UV lights. I found this one at a reasonable price and figured I would try it out. I absolutely loved it. It dries quickly and leaves my nail polish on for a whole week without scratching or chipping. Before I used the UV light I would redo my nails every other day. Also, this light leaves my nails feeling harder than usual. I have taken it to work to show my co-workers. I've done three manicures during lunch and by the end of lunch their nails were dry. (I'm not a manicurist.) I have talked everyone into getting one of these this month. VERY pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really nice This applies like a regular topcoat, but it cures in 3-4 minutes under a UV lamp. it dries all of the layers of polish during the curing period. My nails are rock solid and super shiny afterwards and they last with out chipping for a week (it would be longer if my nails didn't grow so fast). 2 coats is like polished glass. Also, this stuff makes your nails super strong and durable. I love it! I wish I tried it sooner!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Deal I purchased this product and my nails chipped the very next morning. Not worth the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK product It is an ok product. It does help the nails to shine, but the UV lamp is not worth the money. The top coat does become thicker faster in the bottle, so the bottle doesn't last as long as you might want it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best! I love this top coat!! Evens out my polish and adds a shiny , strong top coat to my nails. I usually g go 4-5 w/o chipping. My nails take 5 mins. to dry instead of the 3 mins., but that's not an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price & WOW factor I purchased this product bc I work as a federal officer where I am rough with my hands but I refuse to let my nails be the victim. As soon as I hear about this product I did my research and watched tutorials. This is very inexpensive compared to the manicures ($25) and other uv gel polishes. It saves me having to touch up my nails every day. I read the directions so this is NOT to be used as a base coat. It says TOP COAT for a reason and the DIRECTIONS SAY CLEARLY TO USE A BASE COAT TO PREVENT DISCOLORING. I was amazed at how fast it dried, how easy it was to apply and that I could peel an orange right after. It holds up a great shine and coat. I slam my fingers all day and it still holds up. My fav new technology for nails!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this product I have natural nails and the product did what it was supposed to. I brought this to my manicurist and as long as you use the uv light dryer for 3 minutes you are good to go.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nails turned BRIGHT YELLOW! I have acrylic nails and I wanted to use a UV product since UV isn't supposed to yellow my nails. This was the only UV polish in stock so I bought it. BIG MISTAKE. I painted my nails with this polish the night I bought it and my nails where almost orange the next morning. I had to go back to my manicurist to get my nails completely redone because the yellowing was so deep! I returned it right after my appointment!

Clerk told me I do not need to cure this with a uva light. Is this true. After reading reviews I am afraid to use this.

Asked by: Lisa 786
Does NOT need to be cured with light! It does however need to be applied to dry nails. I tell my ladies to put it on that night (after I've done their nails) or the next day. It's not meant to be used as a top coat right after your color has been applied.

I've tryed using it with powders and it didn't work. My powders could have been the problem as they were cheap

does this keep nails polish from turning yellow

Asked by: dottiemu
If used on acrylic it might due to the uv light. In my experience while indoor tanning my French manicure's always turned yellow from the uv light. I'd stick to using this on natural nails just to be safe. Or if doing a french manicure on acrylics us an undercoat with a pearl sheen to it to hide the yellow.

Will direct sunlight work?

I noticed that even the polishes from the normal gel kit with a UV light I had would begin to cure if I did my nails outside and the sun shifted so that I was in dappled shade and the spots of sun hit the nails or brush, as I was working. So, I'm wondering if UV cured, non-gel top coats like this can be cured by standing outside. It seems like that would expose the fingers to less intense UV.
Asked by: Bea
I honestly don't know the answer to this, maybe give it a shot and see what happens? My only thought is that the UV you get from a lamp is far more intense than what you're getting in the sun, so the length of time it takes to cure might be a lot longer?

Will this work with LED light?

Just wanted to see if this would work with an LED light as well as the UV
Asked by: Anonymous
No, this has to be sealed with a UV light or it will not cure.
