I love these great nail files.
I have been using the 2 I bought for about 10 years and they finally were wearing out. I could still read what they were. I have never seen them anywhere else and I have looked in a lot of places. I finally realized I could look online and even that was hard. I finally found Sally Beauty.com and they had them and I did not have to buy 40 at one time. I am almost 74 and think the ones I bought will outlast me. They are so great. they have enough grit for my hard toenails. I think you will like them also.

Are there very FLAT like smaller emery boards?
They are about as flat as smaller emery boards.
