Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy, easy to use, I use on my real nails I hate to admit but I actually bought these squares twice from place I get my nail polish J***p. I paid $5 for 4 squares! I loved them and used them until they literally fell apart. I decided to check Sally's for something similar since I couldn't justify spending that price again. I was thrilled to see Sally's carries the exact same squares at a fraction of the price. I have real nails, nothing on top except polish. I give myself a complete manicure once a week w touch ups in between. These orange squares are small enough to throw one in my purse just in case. I like the size, even though I have long fingers I find these little squares easier to use. If you are a young girl or an adult w small hands they'd be perfect. I do not know the terms or numbers that explain the amount of roughness buff blocks have but I find these to be exactly what I need. They are just coarse enough to smooth a peeling nail or to gently smooth a rough end w out using a file. On J***p site it did not say they were single use and I used them literally until they fell apart. Since Sally's are affordable I use them 3-4 times before I notice the roughness coming off. They definitely would have to be single use in a professional setting since there is no way to sterilize them. I won't buy any other type of buff blocks. Since finding these orange squares I have no need for any other kind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for 1x use on Pedicures I would not recommend to use on manicures because the blocks are very small but for 1x use on pedicures i think they are great. I fell less guilty throwing these away verses a larger white block.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but mighty I buy these to smooth out metal and they're great, the size helps on smaller pieces so I'd love to buy some at a regular size also. In different workshops, the nail buffers and polishers were mentioned and they work for most, but I like what I get at Sally Beauty Supplies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tiny Buffing Block Great for detailed buffing as it is about an inch in length. I expected it to be bigger, and I didn't see the dimensions in the product descriptions. Works great though. I suggest ordering more than one (I ordered one and yeah...it was weird).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, very useful. You can use them instead of or in addition to a nail file for natural nails. Smooths nail surface and edges. Good for touch ups. Can't go wrong!
