Rated 3 out of 5 by from I FULLY recommend this product... unless... I will say that... this product works great. But - (yeah, there's a but - if you couldn't tell from the 3 star rating I gave it) - I do not like the powder. It goes everywhere. And aside from that, I did not see any warnings about acetone when I purchased this product. Unfortunately, I work with acetone. Acetone and MEK (in a paint factory) - so this product is completely dissolved off of my nails after bout 15 minutes on the job. Other than that, if you can deal with a bit of powder mess and do not work with chemicals that will remove the glue-type substance you have to put on your nails, I'd fully recommend this product. Unfortunately, I'm just not meant to use it until I do not work where I work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I work a job that requires chemicals and scrubbing weird shapes and objects. I was able to save a nail from breaking for two weeks before I was able to polish it for an event and ended up having some of the nicest nails there and only one was treated

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's A Nail Life Saver! This is the first winter I have been able to keep my nails. It's a real nail life saver! I always want to have this on hand both for beauty and for first aid uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nail Life Saver! I used to live in fear of inevitable breaks in my nails, which meant cutting ALL of my nails down and starting over. That doesn't have to happen now thanks to this product, which truly does bond the break together and keeps the nail intact! No more carefully cutting and pasting tea bags, this stuff's got me covered.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sufficient for vertical splits in my nails I recently bought this item, and tried it right away as a rescue for 3 vertical split nails. I found you must keep hands out of water as the product does not stay on very long (about 2-3 days if kept dry) . It may work for some of you and may be great for tiny cracks on edges...but not sufficient for 3/16" vertical splits. Also just to let you all know, regular paintable Gorilla glue works fine too. The glue bottle supplied, has too narrow of nozzle area to replace the brush back into bottle, and then dip finger into powder...it dries too quickly because you are fumbling with the brush too long as both hands are busy with it

How do you remove it? Is it like the powder gel nail products at the salons?

Asked by: Sandeepandee
It is hard to remove with nail polish remover but it does remove it. I use non-acetate polish remover so it is not as hard on my nails but it is also not as strong as the acetate remover. Sometimes I just lightly file the nail part that has this product on it and it is thin enough to chip off. It is probably like the product they use in nail salons but it is not damaging because it is not on the whole nail.  I don't file the top of the nail down as they do in a salon either. I would be lost without this product

I am attempting to stop biting my nails.. However, when I let my nails grow out they peel right off. Would this help with my problem? If not what would you recommend?

Asked by: Bcombs15
My nails peel too.  I use this for special occasions to make my nails look nice, but when I take them off my nails peel.  I take supplements for nails, and it helps a little.

I've had limited success removing it by soaking my nails with cotton balls soaked in acetone.

What comes in the kit?

Asked by: PennyPenguin
Nail glue (which is superglue with a brush applicator) and "nail repair powder", which gives the superglue some substance to hold on to, adds some thickness to the nail. Reminds me of dip powder nail polish systems

How is this different from acrylic?

Asked by: NikkiDaNinja
You don’t have to file the surface of your nail. Brush on liquid then dip wet nail into powder. They don’t stay on more than about a week, but do protect your cracked nail as it grows out.
