Rated 4 out of 5 by from Never bought a 45 seconds gel light Ladies, ladies, I have personally never bought this particular lamp before. However, I did buy a smaller gelish lamp from sally. Came with the whole kit. First of all, for all the ladies complaining about the product not working and not worth it, let me say this........ number one, please make sure that you are using GEL POLISH ONLY! Not like gel, semi gel, gelish polish, NO! Full GEL polish only! That’s your first mistake. Secondly it’s not the machine that’s the problem, it just might be your own nails, yes! A lot of people nails, are too thin, they are not filed properly to remove any chipping or unevenness of the nails itself, causing the polish to chip on the corners or very tip of the nails, happens to me a lot. Third is the way you are applying the polish, if you put it on too thick, it’s going to just simply peel smoothly off. Make sure you apply the correct clear coat. Not gel polish then regular clear polish No NEGATIVE! 4th watts, watts, watts, when you buy these machine make sure you have enough watts , the more watts the better, Little watts like I have, takes me six times under the light before it’s dried, and still work. It’s not the machine at all trust me. I have personally got my real nails done at a nail shop 2 times and in four days first time, one week lasting second time. I will never go back again. My point is, ladies it’s not the machine. My toes can literally last two months or more guaranteed, my nails sometimes not even a week, and I’m good at it. Because my nails brake easy, thin, naturally peels easy. If I have a smaller one and it works then I’m positively sure a larger one does a better and faster job. read the instructions carefully, use the product like you supposed too, buy one with decent amount of watts, use original gel polish only, and should not have problem with any machine you buy. I gave it a 4 star because I have the smaller version of it with less watts, and that one works just fine. I will eventually buy the larger one with definitely higher watts so I don’t have to dry my hands six times each. Works, but take too darn long. Peace

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Know and understand the directions. My light is working very well. The 45 second timer is so helpful. Be sure you follow directions for your products. They are often too brief but on line you can learn what to expect step by step and get good tips for use. I have been using the Red Carpet line of products and they are holding up for two weeks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan I truthfully would not purchase again, the first time I used it held up for maybe 3 days, so I blamed it on user error even though I have all the proper gel polishes - I just tried again on Sunday and took my time to do a really detailed job. Here it is on Tuesday morning and it is starting to peel again. The pro is that it does cure all fingers at once, but that is all I have to say positively. A waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the purchase I bought this 2-3 months ago so that I can save money by doing my manicures at home. So far, I haven't been disappointed. It works just as it should & I am very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT LAMP!!! Bought this lamp for my new salon because it is a 45 second lamp. It cures better than the OPI lamp on all types of gel polishes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it! This light is very good, I have used both the Gelish system and the gelaze, gelaze gel polish color then gelaze top coat Directly on lightly filed and clean nails. It's works great for me, a tip: don't buff on top of your nails to much and not every application, not nesesary, it will stick also did feet :) I would recommend. Lights can not be changed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsure I bought this light, a complete gel kit, and extra gel polishes. After trying it several times, the Polish just doesn't hold like it should. Not sure what part isn't working the way it should. Everything just sits in the closet now.

What’s the difference between a UV light and a Led light cuz my daughter got a combo for her bday to do acrylic nails and gel polish with powders one that change colors depending on what color black/white gel color is used and has to use no wipe top coat

Asked by: Lucygrl33
I like to do my own nails and I love this lamp. I personally think an LED lamp is overall better than a UV. Normally LED lamps are going to be the more expensive option but the curing time is extremely short and the light bulb normally  last the life of the lamp. UV lamps are pretty much opposite. My only advice would be to read the backs on the gel polish because they all have different curing times and some polishes aren’t LED compatible but I haven’t ran into that problem yet.
