Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color descriptions need to be more clear I dyed my hair a rich wine red color about a week ago , and as a veteran fake-redhead I know how quickly reds can fade so I decided to try this out. I left it in for about 10 minutes like it said in the instructions and to my dismay, my hair is now a dark auburny brown. They need to make one specifically for RED colors because this sad excuse for a RED color depositing conditioner ruined my color. My hair is very soft and shiny, and that’s good I guess, but I really hope this stuff washes out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jazz up my bland highlights I bought this to try to jazz up my 2 month old balayage. It did exactly what I hoped it would. My hair is dark brown with light caramel balayage highlights all through. It did not change the brown parts but made the highlights a beautiful red shade. I get so many compliments! Hair was soft and shiny 2 days later! I'll definitely purchase again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best I have auburn highlights and it fade away after about 6 weeks so I tried this and I can say it worked miracles! It’s very potent(but you don’t need gloves) but make sure it’s well distributed on your hair. So I comb my hair before going in the shower, i wash it and mix this product with my regular conditioner(just to help with the overall quantity, especially if you have long hair) I apply to my hair and comb them to make sure it’s everywhere, I wait a few minutes and wash!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I saw results after the first use! It leaves my hair super soft unlike the similar shampoos. My blonde no longer has that brassy tone in it :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my sanity The chocolate color has been the solution to my hot mess of faded brassy strands I’ve been dealing with for the last few months. My naturally light brown/dark ash blonde hair was dyed light blonde which ended up being a disaster months ago. Since then I was managing alternating between permanent & demi-permanent light/medium brown color but it fades so quickly and gets brassy that it was a pain to keep up with! This has been the perfect replacement for all that. The color is a rich brown that hides the brassy dye job with about an inch of regrowth. I’ve actually gotten a lot of compliments on the color! It doesn’t dry out and damage my hair which is a huge plus. I don’t wash my hair everyday so I use it once a week even though the directions say use 2-3x/week. I use it in place of my conditioner when I wash my hair but leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Comes out perfect every time. Way less maintenance and time compared to coloring my hair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from potent stuff but works amazing if used right for the people giving it bad reviews they def left it on too long, but using a clarifying shampoo takes care of it real quick. if you have brassy hair but want ashy this is the best i’ve tried, and ive bought everything from store brand to salon products. before i commited to my whole head i did strand tests. i tried on dry hair for 10 min and def went grey so then i did damp hair for 10 min still a little too grey. dropped it down to 7 min on damp hair and got the perfect ash blonde. plus it’s less drying than shampoos and not chemicals like toners. just strand test in a hidden part of your hair before you commit and i’m sure you’ll like it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Obsessed. I have bright red/auburn hair naturally but during the winter my hair becomes more dull in color, I have been searching for a long time a great product to put a little more "omf" to my natural hair color. What let me be the first to tell you, I found that in this product and then some! It not only left my hair extremely soft and shiny but bright in a beautiful copper tone! I love this product and was worried to try it at first but after one application I will forever be using this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing. I have the cooper shade and as someone else stated most copper reviving products are usually too red toned. This one is perfect. My hair a light copper and this product deepens it and make it more saturated and vibrant. I'd say it lasts about 3-4 washes depending on the shampoo you use and how often you wash your hair. It definitely allows me to refresh the length of my hair so I'm not adding color on top of color. If it is too pigmented for you adding it to plain conditioner to 'dilute' it works well. It does leave my hair soft and smooth and it smells so good--that's classic one n only smell. I am curious about getting the chocolate shade and seeing what that would do in terms of switching the color up. You do have to wash your hands after apppying and try to avoid the hairline because these can stain.

Will it damage or dry out hair?

Asked by: Sbc12345
I actually feel it makes it silky especially since grey hair can be more coarse. I love the product.

I purchased the burgundy as I have natural red highlights in my hair, but I'm wondering should I wear gloves with this? I don't want to stain my hands.

Asked by: Allison2017
The chocolate color will stain your nails and the skin around them, but temporarily. Since then, I always use gloves. Do not let the conditioner or water that has it in it sit anywhere for more than about a minute or it will permanently stain a plastic tub and marble basin!

What tone is the chocolate brown? Warm like golden or cool like ash? Thanks very much!!!

Asked by: Luckygirlm
"Chocolate" is a true medium-to-dark brown (not black-brown) and has warm red tones to it and does not fade green (like a cool ash brown does). No golden tones (I actually use this to ERASE the golden tones in my previously-blonde hair as it's brown dye job fades - matches my level 6-7 roots seamlessly and has saved me from a pixie cut!). Due to the color and ingredients, it is the BEST!

Would this be considered “dye” ? And is it temporary like only as long as you keep using it will the color hold?

Asked by: aylagadoo
It is like a semi permanent dye that basically stains the hair and will shampoo out in a few washes. So yes if you want it to stay you have to keep using it .

I've dyed my hair a copper color, will using this strip away my hair dye?

Asked by: Coppehair
No, this enhances the copper color. I color my hair to a light auburn color, and this just keeps it fresh. I must warn, though, that it is very strong if used alone. I tried it, and it was too bright for me. So, I mix a very small amount into One n Only Hydrating Mask and leave it on about five minutes. It is perfect. Try mixing it with your plain conditioner first, and then determine the intensity you want.

Yes, I bought this color conditioner a few days ago at sallys. I was talked out of getting another toner. I followed directions. My blonde hair is now a weird violet/blue color. WHAT DO I DO??

Asked by: Marthamp
Literally just wash it with some dish soap and it'll come out.

I am letting my hair grow back to gray. I have not colored my hair for several months and have just used a spray root touch up spray. My hair is now a medium blonde. will the natural blond conditioner cover my gray?

Asked by: Sally Sch
It depends on how light your grey is. This only deposits color and won't lighten anything, so if your grey is dark at all the blonde conditioner won't cover that.
