Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less tear than velcro My hairstylist has these rollers. They were hard to find. I go in for retouch, trim, and set. She didn’t have Velcro, which I use at home. I set my hair weekly. My hair is thick and wavy. It seems to me, you can take these rollers out easier. She only uses one clip to hold in place, before placing me under the dryer. Soon as I get home, shall buy them. I mostly need the larger ones at this time. I’m going to build up my supply. I like these because I myself have removed them, they come out easily for me, easier than the Velcro ones, and they clean easier. I also have the Velcro...which I periodically clean by using a small comb to remove any hair...well, everyone knows how to clean curlers...if they use them. My mother likes these nite curlers as well, she will buy the smaller ones, she has short, thin, straighter hair. I do wish they had a name. I don’t sleep in curlers, did that when I was much younger, and don’t do that any longer, just set my hair every 4-7 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to curling your hair! I did not want tight curls and wanted more of large waves. These were perfect! I started with dry hair and I grabbed a sprayer and misted it. This morning I woke up with the prettiest fullest curls. The other reviews are from people who didn't use them right. Obviously they had soaked hair and didn't put them in right as mine stayed in all night.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not even close to easy! It look me 30 minutes to put in and they kept falling out of my hair. In the morning my hair wasn’t even curly it was a big poofy mess of not so wavy waves but my hair was dry at least. Not happy at all with the money spent on this. Looks like I have bed head and made my morning longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I bought these at my local Sally’s and was hopeful it would help me make my mornings easier. I tried it last night and not only did I wake up with some curlers still damp, but the pieces that were dry had a super weak and almost awkward curl where the curler was closest to the scalp. To top it off- the Velcro from the fasteners were getting stuck in my hair! Not only did it take me a while to get them out because of the Velcro, but I had to go to work with the worst hair day I’ve ever had and try to tame it before an important meeting. Do yourself a favor and stick with what works- an iron or traditional rollers.

It says for short or fine hair.. But the pictures shows a woman with very long hair? Is it for short or long hair. Because my hair is short!.

Asked by: Sparkle 60
You could use them on short hair but it would look better on long hair. You could also look for thinner ones that might work better on short hair. You have to have enough hair to wrap around the tube enough that it stays in place.

How do they stay in while sleeping

Asked by: Nancy 13
Well, it looks like it would be comfortable to sleep on, but my hair was too short and too fine, I suppose. I guess I probably could have done just the top of my hair, but that wasn’t really what I wanted. Also, I believe it said in the instructions that you were not supposed to use heat with them. I think I would have needed some a size down to make them work.

I have thin, fine hair that about 18 inches long, root to tip. Should I use the Sleep Styler that is for short/fine hair, or the one that is for long/thick hair.
