You don’t have to paint it like the pros – turn your nails into the ultimate canvas in just a few minutes! If you’ve ever had your eye on designs by your fave manicurist (we’re talking hearts, French tips, flowers… you name it!) and thought, you could never recreate that. Well, not any more – the power is in your hands!
There’s absolutely no skill required with these pens – whatever you can draw on paper, you can now draw on your nails! Anything is possible with Mani Markers.
As we know you’re all keen to hear, here’s how to use them:
1. BASE – apply one coat of Nails.INC base coat
2. POLISH – followed by two coats of polish (if you want a colourful nail base), or possibly a sheer nail treatment.
3. PRIME – press down the nib of the pen and continuously hold down to activate the polish.
4. DOODLE – draw your chosen design using the pens.
5. WIPE – if you make a mistake, easily wipe away with nail polish remover.
6. FINISH – Once dry, seal in the colour with your favourite Nails.INC top coat – we recommend our 45 Second top coat!
If you use these tips and tricks, your mani masterpiece should last 4-6 days.
- Shake the pen well and press the nib of the pen down on a piece of paper to activate the nail ink. This may take a few tries but will eventually run through. We estimate 20-30 seconds.
- When drawing your doodles, your nail base needs to be fully prepped. If painting a shade underneath, ensure its fully dry before doodling on top.
- You shouldn’t need to apply too much pressure to the nail when drawing your design, so make sure the ink is running through well.
- Like our normal nail polish formulas, the nail ink dries pretty quickly, so you may need to work a little quicker on your nail art designs- especially if you’re shading.
- To ensure your finished nail art masterpiece lasts everyday wear, apply our Better On Top Top Coat to lock in your look. Think of your Top Coat as a sealant, it needs to be evenly applied, even under the tip of the nail.
- Please note as our Mani Markers are water based, your nail designs will come off if you do not use a Top Coat.
