How long before the wedding should the bride-to-be have her hair colored?

Don't wait too close to your big day to have your hair colored. Visit your salon a week or two before. After your color service, use a color sealer to lock in the hair color. A bride should decide on a hairstyle at least three to six months before the wedding—especially if she plans to have her hair colored and/or chemically straightened or curled. This allows her time to try her look out before the big day. The stylist will want to practice the hairstyle with the headpiece at least once before the wedding so that there are no big surprises on the day of the event!
