Official Rules & Entry Form
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN THE SALLY WIN IT! SWEEPSTAKES (sometimes “Promotion”), and no obligation of any kind is implied. A PURCHASE AT ANY TIME OF ANY PRODUCT FROM SALLY BEAUTY SUPPLY LLC D/B/A SALLY BEAUTY (“SPONSOR”) DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
To enter online: Log on to www.SallyBeauty.com (sometimes the “Web Site”) beginning at 12:01 a.m. Central Time on June 1, 2009 and click to the SALLY WIN IT! Sweepstakes. You will then be brought to a registration page where you must complete the submission form. When you have properly filled in all of the required information on the submission form, click “Submit.” The use of automated or third party entry software (such as macro, robotic, script or other forms of automatic entry) is prohibited. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.
Limit one entry per person, per day, received by July 31, 2009. Entries become Sally property.
Open to individual legal residents of the Continental 48 United States who are age 13 or older, and had Internet access at time sweepstakes begins, except Sponsor and Sponsor affiliate employees and immediate families. Minors must get parent or legal guardian permission to enter, and include parent or guardian approval in entry. Prizes won by minors awarded to parent or guardian.
Sally Beauty is not responsible for entries that are garbled, late, lost, damaged, illegible, stolen, misdirected or incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at Sponsor or elsewhere, or containing incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries. If there is a dispute about the identity of the entrant, entries made online will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. An “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Web Site or otherwise in violation of the Official Rules. Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
Many will enter, one (1) will win one (1) Sally Gift Card valued at One Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($100.00) [and 50% off one (1) Sally Beauty Club Card (valid at all Sally Beauty stores in the continental USA for one (1) year after issuance) valued at Five Dollars ($5.00)]. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. From eligible entries, Sally Beauty will randomly select the winners on or about August 10, 2009. Sally Beauty’s decision is final. Winners will be notified by email. Sally Beauty may substitute prizes at sole discretion. No other substitution or transfer. Winners are solely responsible for taxes. Winners required to sign release and eligibility affidavit, and may be required to consent to use winner’s name and likeness for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation or permission, within ten (10) days of receipt of notice, except where or as prohibited by law. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited and awarded to other winner(s) in random drawing from received entries on or after day above time expires. Limit one (1) prize per winner.
Use of Registration Information/Privacy Statement: Your personal information obtained on-line or in conjunction with this Promotion will be utilized by Sponsor for the purpose of selecting the winner of a Prize. If you opt on the Promotion entry form to receive additional information, your information may also be used by Sponsor and by Sally to provide you with other like information in the future as well as for marketing and promotional purposes related to products and services offered by Sponsor and/or Sally, or other properties and for any other purpose whatsoever. Sponsor and/or Sally may and do employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on Sponsor and/or Sally’s behalf. Examples include, without limitation, fulfilling orders, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions.
Sally Beauty is not responsible for liability, loss or damage. Participation equals acceptance of Official Rules. Allow eight weeks for prize delivery. You can receive a winners’ list by sending a request to the entry address, received on or before August 27, 2009. List not mailed until winners’ documentation received.
