Psychedelic Sunset I really liked the color turn out, however, it faded a bit after the first wash. it was a bright vibrant neon orange, now a dull yellow orange. Bought 2 for $30 online, wasn't worth it. I have been a dye hard for years, this is my favorite color but I wish it would have lasted longer. I'm going to try buy Manic Panic's Electric lava and dilute it to try to get the same effect. 1 container of electric lava with conditioner instead of 2 Psych sunset is definitely worth the try. But be aware, the orange and red based colors faded faster. other colors I've tried are Vampire Red, Shocking Blue, Rockabilly Blue, Purple Haze, Hot Hot Pink, After Midnight (Purple Haze was my favorite of these) July 18, 2014
Rockabilly blue horror story I dyed my hair Rockabilly blue and stained EVERYTHING! it dyed my headphones and still stains everything when dry! my pillow cases are blue, my nails are blue, my skin is the color of the blue man group and a crayon..._-_ it stained my desk and I washed off my hair brushes and still didn't come off! I raised it all off and still it stain, so I left a FB post on manic panics FB page and told them my story and this kind lady told me that rockabilly blue doesn't stop staining for two and half weeks and after midnight blue and bad boy blue doesn't blood at all and the reds and purples don't have the bleeding problem like rockabilly blue. and I'm not the only one that has ever complained about this issue and I will never buy this again until they change the formula or the bleeding problem. HATE HATE HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it even stained my goldens fur! July 15, 2014
Warm pink This is the only warm pink I have found. Sort of a shrimp-coral color and much better for my complexion than the cool pinks. It's a gorgeous color if you leave it on for a long time. On someone else's advice, I left it on 2 hours (covered with a cap) the first time. An hour and a half sufficed the second time. Both times, I removed the cap and then used a blow dryer on high until the dye was dry and then I rinsed it. It still fades very quickly, which the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Hard to even see after two weeks but I don't bleach first as my hair is mostly white. I think I will try bleaching just to open up the follicles to see if that helps it last. Atomic turquoise has been my favorite but I'm doing the pink for my daughters fall wedding. I know it'll look great on that day regardless. Extra bonus - it doesn't stain your skin and counter tops like turquoise and ultra violet do! June 28, 2014
Dye Hard I actually purchased the Enchanted Forest, and the Atomic Turquoise. I haven't dyed my hair greens in many, many years, I usually stick to reds, then pinks, then blues/purples. My hair was nice and bleached out before using the Manic Panic. I've been using Manic Panic since I was 16, and I'm 28 now. I tried to fade the teal into the green, and spend lots of time combing the colors through individually, while adding more dye as I combed along through the colors to make sure it was going to stick and look vibrant. As the colors have faded I can see the difference between them, but after it was freshly done it all looked the same color, so green it almost looked blue. It was kind of disappointing, as the teal has looked fantastic in my hair before, but pairing it along side of the forest green wasn't exactly what I was expecting from the dye I know and love. I was trying to have mermaid hair. I actually purchased a different brand of green offline to fade into the Manic Panic dyes, and that helped me achieve more of a true green color. May 22, 2014
