Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Latinos come in all shades. But one thing's for certain — the culture is full of color. This year, we're celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month juntos. Because together we are one. And our differences are what make us powerful.

  • Mini Mani Moo

    By Andreina Landis

    CEO & Co-Founder

Born in Mexico City, Andreina moved to the U.S. in 2013 to pursue the American dream with only $50 and a “million-dollar idea.” Soon, Mini Mani Moo was born. What started with Andreina and her husband filling bottles by hand on their coffee table quickly turned into mass production and worldwide distribution.

“For too long, the Latin media has portrayed women as the perfect wives or arm candy instead of empowering us to be successful businesswomen and business owners. I wanted to change that and inspire young girls to be more.”

Mini Mani Moo has been known for its innovative nail products since its launch. One product and Andreina's vision blossomed into a powerhouse brand with over 200 offerings and a loyal customer base. With over 400 million video views worldwide across social media platforms, the products have gone viral and the brand continues to grow internationally.

  • Suavecito

    By Tony Adame

    CEO & Founder

In 2009, Tony, along with his brother, Pete, and their neighbor, J-Bird, started selling hair pomade to fund a project to design and build a restaurant. Soon, the pomade venture developed into an internationally recognized company — Suavecito — and the restaurant dream turned into a new one.

“The celebration of Hispanic Heritage is not just about the importance of highlighting our culture. It's about uplifting other people within our community that would otherwise feel disadvantaged. It's also about showcasing Hispanic leaders that are fighting for and achieving the American dream every day.”

The pomade with a signature scent was originally created to work for thick, wavy, Hispanic hair. At the time, there was nothing on the market that held their hair in place and smelled as good. Today, Suavecito products continue to be formulated and tested in real-world environments by the same group of people that started the company.
