Rated 5 out of 5 by from Know your hair before picking a color swatch! This is a translucent color, it blends very nice. For those who complain that you wanted it to look like the swatch, this is why you leave it to the professionals. You need to know hair chemistry to understand levels and shades and previous applications on the hair already. Most of the store attendants do not know color and you are not getting the best direction. You can not look at a swatch and expect that color if you do not know you technical chemistry of the hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading color names and pictures I got the “medium blonde” shade, hoping for the shade pictured for that color. I was previously pale ash blonde, and wanted to go down a few shades. This made my hair literally brown. Do not buy if you want to keep your hair blonde.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color Charm hair color works really well! Love the color, although it seems to fade a bit after a week, but that could be my old hair! It does make my hair shiny too!

I have medium to dark blonde roots coming in & the rest is a light blonde. Can I bought 10N/ satin blonde with 20 volume developer. Can I use this on the roots & then pull through to the ends the last 10 minutes? Or do I need to bleach the roots first?

Asked by: Abbeyburns
The method you're suggesting is the way I've touched up my roots for many years. It should work fine.

Will this cover pink

Asked by: BROKEN40
Not for sure with the pink but I have a lot of heavy grey at my roots and it does a good job of covering that. I use 20 vol and equal parts,,,,

For 15 years I’ve bleach my hair white/blonde using powder bleach with 30vol developer. Now it’s badly damaged. I want to go a bit darker but my hair usually will not even hold any color. What can I do?

Asked by: Ginger4u
Use a protein filler first and then color with a demi permanent dye.

My color gel box says 7AA/632. I can't find that number in your list. Help!

Asked by: annet7228
Use 7a. 7a is ash. 7aa is more ash.

What does the color 12A frosty ash look like? I am assuming it is ash toned but is it ashy gray, because in the picture it looks like it is almost white? If I am looking for a color that is icy platinum blonde (not gray) is this the right color for me?

Asked by: BlondeJess
You would probably want something with a violet base, not an ash base, but if your hair is dark you will need to lighten it with bleach first. The outcome of every color application depends on the color/level of hair your applying it to. I hope that helps.

What color will 9NG turn newly bleached hair?

Asked by: Erinrocks1977
I would deep condition newly bleached hair. If I could, I would wait five days before applying 9NG. It should be true to the color swatch chart.
