  • Use to mend breaks and tears in natural nails Adhesive protects and strengthen natural nails Looks more natural and thinner than acrylics
Supernail Swiss Silk Wrap Self-Adhesive Tabs are 100% Pure Swiss Silk pre-shaped self-adhesive wrap tabs for use with wrap.
  • It is best to use Nail Wrap Glue as this is thinner and penetrates the silk to adhere to the nail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I thought I would give them a try to help my nails when I get cracks. I have tried and tried to successfully apply these. They are extremely difficult to use on self nails. Maybe it MIGHT work if I applied them to someone else, but I HIGHLY Doubt it. It is Impossible to get the silk off cleanly. The sils do not stick after eventually getting them off the paper. The only way I have been successful in applying anything is to put on hard coat then press the silk into it. If the fit is not right, then, I have to attempt to scissor the extra. The extra does not cut easy either. I will be returning these! I don't have enough time to be stressing over such a poor product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good much needed product Works just like it's supposes to. Almost invisible on nail. Wish I had known I would need a botle of Stick It to use but so far clear polish has worked until I can get to Sally's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rookie I tried doing silk wraps on for the first time ever and I used these on myself. I was very impressed with how they turned out. The product is great for using on natural nails or over fake tips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Conflicted! These are pretty awesome and I for some reason just realized they existed! Crazy I know. I have long natural nail but for whatever reason started to bite them or they would break form jagged edges and such. It was getting me down because having chewed off nails does not look good at least I do not like it. I used these on all my natural nails with nail resin, and the drying spray. I loved it and my nails feel strong and look fantastic. I will say they are a little hard to get used to as far as using, cutting, peeling sticker off, etc....but if you take your time and with some practice I think things will go faster and smoother with time. Now the part I don't like. I put tips on three different nails as they were chewed off. I know i'm not a professional but they look horrible (see pic) Maybe its my fault, maybe not. I will just keep using them for my natural nails though from now on because its amazing.

Has anyone extended their length using the wraps? How did that go?

Asked by: tracydee
I haven’t used these yet, but I’m going to try them because my nails are awful from a medication that I take. I plan to use the wrap under full cover plastic nails (that I use to protect my brittle nails) to help my natural nails heal & the plastic nails bond better. Maybe give that a whirl, they’re 100% more natural looking than 10 years ago.

I used these with Supernail glue to protect natural "guitar nails" that often snap off in cold weather. It took a long time for the glue to dry. The wraps give my nails a matte finish. I put on nail polish, too. Any suggestions for a newbie?

Asked by: Brittle nailed human
That’s what I do. I put the silk on as my nails split from nail biting. After I put on the silk and it’s dry, I file it to make it smooth and I use shellac or gel on top of that

Do these help prevent nail polish from chipping?

Asked by: TinySparkle
They may make a difference, I’m not sure. My polish doesn’t chip, but I thought it was because I like to use ORLY’s Won’t Chip clear top coat. It might be worth a try. If it works please let me know.

If this is used over the entire nail just for some added strength how do you deal with the regrowth? Do you soak off &reapply a new one or a "add" on & for buff to blend? Also does it damage the natural nail if you use it to cover all of the nail?

Asked by: Imthemom
If you have strong healthy nails, to start, you should have no issues. I use Omega brush-on nail glue over the silk wraps and Formula 10 nail glue dryer stay to dry glue quickly. Once there is grow out I will usually file down the slight ridge and fill with nail glue, spray and paint. Hope this works for you!

I generally rub coconut oil into my nails and it seems to help with growth and strength. Can I still do that with the wraps?

Asked by: Jaxie233
Yes you can, if you brush the glue over the silk wrap and let it dry. The oil or any other conditioner will not affect your silk wrap.

What's the difference between nail resin & nail glue

Asked by: HubaHuba
There is no difference really except maybe one or two ingredients that are in "nail glue". The two ingredients are meant to make the glue adhere temporarily when you fix a nail. It bonds, holds and will suffice. But if you get "glue" on your skin you can wait a bit wash your hands or just rub some oil on it, and the glue will peel off with little effort. With nail resin, it is made to STAY for quite a while longer than glue. If you get resin on your skin, you will need acetone, and I mean PURE acetone to get it off. Resin was designed for the Industrial or construction industry. They needed to bond hard plastics, clays, porcelain for toilets. All of that manly stuff (no offence to the women working in this field though, you all rock!). Someone said :I can bond that to a fake nail tip!" and the rest is history. It is more permanent than nail glue. That is why you need to soak it off with acetone at home and at the nail salon when you are tired of your fake nails. HTH

I have VERY weak nails. Like to the point where I can bend them. I understand that when the wrap is on it makes the nails hard. But when I take the wraps off will my nails be harder and strengthened or the same weak nails I've always had?

Asked by: JessStaylor
Try taking collagen. There are some good powdered forms on the market that you mix into any liquid. It will take about 2 to 3 months but you will see stronger nails. Good for your skin, too.

What all do i need to use the wraps?

Asked by: Just nailed it
The minimum would be nail glue and polish, but I recommend also using resin and a buffer sponge to get a completely natural look (I use clear polish)
