  • For best results, file in one direction only, from side to nail tip. Do not file down side of nail as it will weaken nail and make it more prone to tearing and breaking.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from To the Point I love it! With its sharp point, it gets down into the nooks and crannies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diamond Deb fingernail file I purchase this file about four times a year. The length does not matter. It is the ONLY file I use. For some reason the file jumps out of its case anf my purse to escape. Then I go purchase a new one. Im going today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They work great for peddicuring. The girls like them for the pedicured because they are thin and can be sterilized.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not effective I found this nail file to be not nearly as effective as they used to be. I've been around this brand of file my entire life and was disappointed with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Sharp :) It's pretty awesome! I love this one more than the one I originally had. This makes my nails pretty smooth, and the point at the end of the file lets me fix the skin under the nail to make it even. I like how with just a sweep or two with the file, my nails are shaped to how I like them :) The file itself it a tad brittle, so just beware. And if you want to get rid of the powder and stuff on the file, just gently blow it away and use a paper towel to gently pat it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only file I buy The diamond dust coating files nails perfectly. A light touch smooths rough edges; a firmer pressure shapes a nail quickly. The thickness (or actually, how thin the file is) allows you to quickly clean your nails without effort or pain. I have yet to find another nail file as thin as this. Every friend and relative who has received one as a gift has been won over, and want to know where to buy more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best This is the only nail file I'll use for shaping my natural nails. I carry the 4" in my purse, keep a spare in the car, at my nightstand....they're all over the place. The 6" length I keep with my nail supplies and in desks. They do not rust! I had these in Hawaii for 9 months and if it's going to rust, it'll happen just by virture of being in Hawaii due to the ocean air. They last for a VERY long time. We're talking 6 months to a year and that's if you only have one of these files to use for everything, everywhere. I know from experience when I first got started on these. The blue plastic case they come in are very handy to keep them from snagging on anything so you can store them pretty much anywhere. One of the best things about these files is they bend like the cardbord centered files. The effort and pressure you put into this file goes to your nails, not getting lost on bending the file itself. If you're doing some serious filing and the file gets 'full', just slap it on your jeans a few times and keep going. I like how these files are thin so I can get in those hard to reach places like on the sides of the nails where if you don't file it down, it'll turn into a nasty hangnail. A cardboard type of file is too thick to do a proper job on that. These work quick, too. Maybe it's because you're not wasting effort bending cardboard and your work goes to filing the nail or maybe it has a unique filing surface. Whatever the case, these files make short work of a great filing job.

How long do they last?

Asked by: butchiej
Forever. I just found this on a fluke (?!) via a picture. I had one for ages; however, it got legs and walked away. I am excited to check our local Sally's to obtain another! (I believe I had the 8")

Can I get these in store? And do you have both or the 6 inch and the 8 inch Diamon Deb nailfile? Thank you

Asked by: Kathryn K
I have found this file in both sizes in the stores and on line. I like the longer one best, easier for me to work with. These are my favorite and they last ages!

Does your file have both, a course and a fine side? What possible local stores could it be available in? If ordered from you, what is the shipping cost? I am very interested.

Asked by: curiouse
The Diamon Deb files are supposedly made from diamond dust particles. Both sides appear the same and Sally Beauty sets their shipping cost check their website. I don't sell them as I'm not a retailer but a Sally customer.
