Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Powder but Terrible Container I never write a review but I like this powder enough to let it be known. I'm back to buy more so that says something. I get oily enough that I need to pat off the excess shine and reapply at least once through the day but I don't have an issue with that. The container on this is absolutely terrible though. I hate the little tiny buff that comes with it so I end up shaking some into the lid and using a big brush to apply it which ends up powdering my entire shirt and most of my lap too! My plan this time is to ditch the old powder in my Cover Girl container and switch it out with this to avoid the mess. No one will ever know I'm using a great Palladio product because of your awful container. Definitely should work on fixing that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great powder I bought translucent as a finishing powder and sometimes for the only skin cover over spf 50. Light texture, no hypersensitivity issues with Abby ingredients including the slight fragrance. A very light touch is recommended. I'm glad I finally invested in this powder

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good powder Hate the packaging. It's very hard to use without spilling it all over the place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic This finishing powder is the best of all, including all the "high end" finishing powders I have tried. The only drawback is the box makes it kind of messy. However, it is still worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Searching for the Mattifying Lasting Effect My face is very oily in the t-zone. I went to a local Sally Beauty Supply store to get a powder that controls an oily face. The sales representative told me Sally Beauty has / had a mattifying face powder but that it was not in that store and to check online. The rice powder was the only product available. When I use this powder I still have an oily face after a few hours in warm weather. I'm still searching for a mattifying lasting effect in a face powder...

Is this powder good for dry skin?

Asked by: Jessie M
I tend to have dry skin and I found this powder to work just fine. I do use a good moisturizer under it but I'm not using any other foundation, just the powder and I felt it had good coverage without being too drying.

can this product be use by black women with olive brown skin tone?

It's a little pink for olive skins. I would try the translucent or the other shade.

I bought this wonderful loose rice powder but once you remove the sponge applicator on top, I cannot get the top of the container to come off so that I can dab the sponge in it. I have been trying to pull it straight up but its not budging. Any ideas?

Asked by: forethought
i think there is a transparent thin plastic over the holes that can be pulled off. Tap gently to control amount

Is this powder good for baking?

Baking is caking on powder, letting it set for a while, and dusting excess off. Basically can I cake this without it looking like I did?
Asked by: Meg
No, this powder is not good for baking.

The colors look off? If I use a medium base? What color should I use of this Rice Powder?

I am trying to make a purchase now. The reviews were helpful, but would have been more helpful if they described their skin tones and colors they used.
Asked by: Rose
I purchased the translucent one which isn't white like other translucent powders, it looks like a very fair color; I honestly could not tell a difference in color but the foundation I bought was accidently a bit warmer, so it kind of helped lighten it to my shade a bit. I'm in the middle of fair and lightly tan skin.
