For buns or other slick styles: Apply a generous amount to wet, damp or dry hair. Smooth hair with a brush & style as desired. Apply more gel to tame flyaways as needed. 

For defined wash & gos: Smooth onto wet hair from roots to ends and scrunch into hair using an upwards motion to create curl definition. Let hair air dry or diffuse. Once hair is completely dry, scrunch again to add softness & bounce.
