Rated 5 out of 5 by from No toner needed My favorite lightener!! Lightens my roots quickly and no yellow/brassy tone. My natural hair is dark blonde/auburn but I've been a blonde for years!! Love this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable Results I’m very satisfied with this lightener. It was very effective on dark roots without burning my scalp the way some other products have. Be careful, as the large tub size and scooping into the inner plastic bag can cause minor spills or airborne dust. It’s probably preferably to weigh it out rather than relying on the included scoop to get a proper ratio of lightener to developer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Packaging woes The product was great, the container not so much. The lid was very difficult to remove and at one point while trying to get the lid off, the container cracked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wella Bleach for hair touch up this does THEE job. i thought id need to bleach twice but NOPE this stuff is definetly powerful but MAKE SURE YOURE USING THE PROPER DEVELOPER. since the powder is white, it still has a yellow lift. ive used a blue bleach and it did literally nothing but make my hair feel disgusting. Pair this w the wella toner and i promise itll look GREAT.

If my hair is blue what volume developer would i need to get it nearly white?

Asked by: Blu scarlett
Blue is incredibly hard to get out, you might not achieve true white in one go. If its pre lightened, id suggest a very low developer. Maybe a 10. And dont leave it in for very long. I would also just suggest getting a color remover instead, bleach will eat your hair. But if you do go with bleach, make sure to get a toner. It will help a lot in the long run.

I just went to a salon sadly the lady’s that did it couldn’t get my red out. Would this do it’s job?

Asked by: Ambs1999
I know I’m late but I would not recommend using bleach to get direct dye out (or any type of dye) it will stain your hair making it harder to get the color out.  I suggest a color remover <3

Can i use this powder lightener with a developer of a different brand?

Asked by: Yessy209
You can use a different brand of developer however it is usually best to use inline products as they are often formulated to work together. How can I get rid of orange hair? Used a box dye on dark brown hair. It turned orange, lol. I knew it could happen but didn’t want to go to a salon because of Covid. Can I use this with a developer? If so, is 20 enough? Looking to actually be blonde. Lol

Asked by: Just Bianca
You need to bleach it again to get it to a yellow then tone it. T18 won’t help you if you have orange hair. Watch brad mondo videos on YouTube, he’ll explain all things hair.

I have been growing my hair out for a long time and only dyed it once 7 months ago(a soft brown) which is super faded. Should i still strip color before bleaching? Ive never stripped before!

Asked by: Stefferu
The bleach will strip the color out. Sometimes you need to bleach it 2x if you have brown hair. It will go from brown to orange on the first bleach then from orange to yellow/white. I would wait at least overnight to bleach it a second time of it’s necessary.

i can't go to salon with 1 month old due to covid ..i used to do highlight and now my roots are dark if i want to use this powder with 30 developer will i get Platinum color ?? and if i used after T18 toner should i use it with 30 developer too ?

Asked by: Saritaa1
The bleach is good it will not give you a platinum.. depends on how your hair lifts and what toner you use.. toners like T18 are used with peroxide 10
