Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bargain! If you’re going blonde at home, BUY THIS. The packets won’t be enough. Works great, bleached my hair evenly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This works well, but it BURNS I have tried this bleach on myself and on my sister, and we both had a hard time keeping it on for more than 15 minutes. It HURTS your scalp. It worked well, but I don't think I'll ever touch up my roots with this. Too painful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product its a great product. it bleached my black/brown box dyed hair with just two bleaches. one with 30 vol and the 2nd with 20 vol, the only complaint is that why such little product is such a big tub? it honestly makes no sense to me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used to work, now a dry crumbly mess I've used this product before with success, but this most recent batch I purchased is different. It's ridiculously dry, even with using the maximum amount of developer recommended on the label. It mixes up to a nice cake frosting consistency, then proceeds to dry out, crumble, and fall all over my face and clothes as I'm applying it. I don't wait a ridiculous amount of time between mixing it and applying it. The dryness results in spotty, terrible coverage. Last time I did my roots, I ended up looking like a tortoiseshell cat, even though my level 7 natural hair has always lifted to a perfect platinum before. I'll be looking for a different brand in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good I’ve used this for a while and it’s just the best thing to use along with the ion developer for a sensitive scalp, just 10/10 since I’ve been using it for 5 years.

so i recently went to a salon to fix my hair after color oopsing it, it’s now brown with blonde highlights, but it’s more of partial highlights, i’m wanting to go platinum blonde but i don’t know how to go with it. is it okay if i bleach the blonde parts?

Asked by: alorajp17
I've never heard of a salon that's ever used color oops to correct hair. However if you then redeposited color onto your hair and are no longer happy with the color that you want and you are wanting to do highlights and platinum blonde highlights at that this is the bleach that I would use. However if you have never used bleach before I would be very careful. You could end up with bright orange chunks of hair. And depending on the process that was done to your hair at the salon you could even lose hair. not knowing the process it was done at your hair I would not recommend using anything over than a 20 developer on your hair. Just remember toner is not a correct all if your hair is not platinum blonde when you tone it your hair will turn brown or even grayish. So if later you find the need to tone,do not wash your hair first.Do not deposit conditioner on your hair.Rinse the bleach out with lukewarm water, then tone if need be.also if you are just trying to lighten your hair after you have lightened it the first time and are simply trying to achieve a lighter color Do not tone your hair you won't need to re-bleach those spots that you are trying to get lighter. Toner will not lighten your highlights anymore. Best of luck to you. Hope your hair turns out amazing.

Can I bleach over my highlights?

Asked by: Anonymous
I do it all the time, be aware of how brittle or healthy your hair is, choose volume accordingly and strand check often. Use a heavy duty conditioner afterwards. Maybe trim the very ends if you had a lot of breakage. All over base color first is also a good option.

I have long dark brown curly hair with highlights that turned brassy and I'm wantting to go blonde help please

Asked by: Katie8718
So depending on how dark the brassiness is, you may want to lighten again. Also look into toners as they can help with brassiness. For professional advice on this product please contact the L'Oreal Help Line (800) 345-5014. Hotlines are open from 9AM - 5PM EST, Monday-Friday.

hi i have had jet black hair for three years. two weeks ago I tried to bleach my hair with Beyon the zone color removal and then with color oops and it didn't work. I want to change my hair to light brown, ¿what can I do?

Asked by: 2020marie
Black hair color is very resistant to non chemical hair removers. You can use lightener with developer to lighten your hair to a level close to the light brown that you are thinking and then follow up with hair color, mixed with the appropriate developer, to deposit the desired shade of light brown to your lightened hair. If you are unsure of the amounts of lightener to developer ratios you can purchase on of our lightening kits where everything is measured for you. Follow up with deep conditioning hair care treatments and bond treatments for lightened hair after lightening and coloring.

Purchased L'Oreal Quick Blue, 30 CHI, wellaT18 Toner , wella 20 . Have never bleached before. No color for past 3 months light grey roots med brown hair with sun bleached ends. Shoulder length. Will I need to bleach 2x? Can I bleach and tone same day?

Asked by: Bellaj65
No. Do the brown hair first, bring it to the sun bleached ends color. Mix remaining bleach with shampoo. Apply to whole head 5-7 mins. Rinse out all bleach then shampoo. Towel dry and apy toner. Should let a pro do ot, too much for a lay person. Good.luc km.

I have dark brown hair, would I need toner with this?

Asked by: Trashwaifu
Depends on how light you need to go but mine still always turns out a little brassy when I bleach my roots. Not horrible, definitely works better than most bleaches but if you need just blond, then I would recommend a toner.
