Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it I bought this less than a week ago. I got it on Tuesday. I bleached half my head and it is almost white. I was hoping that it would take the green out of my hair and it did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's good, safe bet I prefer this bleach, but honestly, only for the packaging. It's not any better or worse than their other bleach packets. But it's yet another undelivered item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty pleased. Works pretty well, minimal yellow but still needed a toner or at minimum a purple shampoo to really get that super white. Overall pleased, used with 30 dev on my dark blonde hair.

What does minimal swelling in the description mean?

Asked by: Michelle3997
Most bleach products swell up between 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch from where they are placed which is why you do an outline of the hair that needs to be bleached to avoid overlapping when the product swells to the point where bleach was already placed before which then causes breakage due to overlapping. So to avoid overlapping its best to stay 1/8 of an inch away from the previous bleach, use a thick developer, pack it on 1/8 of an inch from where the previous bleach was placed and then brush it towards the roots (and as always when lightening do the roots last since the heat from the scalp will cause it to develop faster which could cause hot roots).

To remove black color with honey highlights, which one do I use, the prism bleach with violet or blue because I want to change to a platinum silver. Also which toner do I use, the T14 or T18?

Asked by: Jazzy1027
Purple bleach on black color to lift it to the same level as the honey highlights then the t18 toner

If my hair is orange and the prism lights blue is sold out can I use prism lights violet on my hair instead?

Asked by: umheyitsmeg
Yes but it won't lighten as much as the blue. I normally use this because it's not lifting as much so less damage but I think it lifts up to 4 levels.

Will 1oz mixed with the developer be enough to bleach the ends of my hair? I have thick dark brown hair

Asked by: quaranteen
I also have thick brown hair, it’s very dark with red under tones. It depends on the level of developer. I use level 30 for the recommended time and it comes out a pale yellow good enough for a lot of fashion colors, currently iris green with a little aquamarine both arctic fox.

If I did this Wednesday and my hair was natural dark brown can I use it again the next day to achieve the color I want? It lighted up my roots very well but as I went to the rest of my hair I didn't leave it on long enough. It's super brassy

Asked by: Me In Tex
I have done a double process with this and it was ok, but my hair was very dry after. I would suggest using one of the ion white/purple toners instead, or be ready to do a lot of conditioning and protein treatments.

Can this be mixed with the blue lightener to reduce/remove the brass/red tones?

Asked by: Suzanne2BBlonde
You don't need to mix it with a blue lightener because it already reduces brassy tones.
