DO:

• Shampoo the day before if there is a build-up of hairspray/styling aids.
• Perform allergy alert and strand test 48 hours before lightening
• Apply to ends of hair first, unless touching up roots only
• After processing, rinse, shampoo, rinse, use the CC Colorseal Conditioner OR the Shimmer Lights Conditioner/Mask, and rinse again.
• Save unmixed portions of lightener and developer for next application (up to 6 wks). 

DON'T:

• Don't Apply Over: Highly Lightened Hair Double-Processed Hair Frosted Hair Henna Color Restorers Metallic Hair colors
• Do not perm, relax or straighten the hair immediately before or after bleaching/highlighting. (For best results, wait 7-10 days and shampoo 1-2 times in between).
• Do not apply to roots first unless completing a root application
• Don't save any unused product that has been mixed together.
• Don't use if you have rash on face or if scalp is irritated, sensitive
• Don't mix with other products.
• Don't use on facial/body hair.

Read and follow instructions. This product contains ingredients including hydrogen peroxide, which may cause severe eye irritation and possible permanent eye injury. AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES. IF THE PRODUCT GETS INTO YOUR EYE, FLUSH IMMEDIATELY WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF LUKEWARM WATER AND SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE. We recommend removing contact lenses before applying this product. If you must wear contact lenses during application and any products gets into your eye, remove the contact lens first, then flush immediately with a large amount of lukewarm water and seek medical advice. CAN CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION IN SOME INDIVIDUALS. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water. WEAR SUITABLE GLOVES. This product must not be used for highlighting/ bleaching the eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness. Do not use under the age of 16 or if you have irritated scalp or skin or if you ever experienced reactions after hair highlighting/bleaching. If during application you experience any stinging or burning and/or rash, rinse immediately and discontinue, seek medical advice. Do not exceed the development time stated. RINSE HAIR WELL AFTER APPLICATION. KEEP DEVELOPER AWAY FROM HEAT AND LIGHT. Do not mix this product with any other not in this leaflet indicated product. DO NOT LEAVE THE MIXTURE IN A CLOSED BOTTLE (BOTTLE MAY EXPAND/BURST), IF A BOTTLE IS USED FOR MIXING. DO NOT KEEP ANY UNUSED PRODUCT. Do not perm, relax or straighten the hair immediately before or after bleaching/highlighting. Remove all metal objects from hair before highlighting/ bleaching and keep them away during highlighting/ bleaching. Do not rinse while showering. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Keep the empty carton and the instruction leaflet in case you experience a reaction.

• Carry out an allergy test 48 hours before coloring.
• Do a strand test to determine optimal timings and results.
• When you’re ready to color, pour the AminoLift Lightening Cream completely into the Activator Applicator Bottle. Close the bottle and shake.

FOR AN ALL-OVER APPLICATION:

• Part hair into sections and start at darkest part of your hair.
• Apply mixture to the hair keeping it away from the scalp.
• Gently smooth the mixture through to the hair ends avoiding the root area.
• Leave on for 10 minutes and check the progress.
• Once you’re happy with level of lightness, apply product to the roots and gently smooth the mixture through all your hair.
• Check every 10 minutes for a maximum of 60 minutes until you achieve an overall lightening.

ROOT APPLICATION:

• Part hair into sections and start at darkest part of your head.
• Apply mixture to only new growth at roots.
• Leave the mixture for 30 minutes and check progress.
• Check every 10 minutes for a maximum of 60 minutes until you reached the lightness desired.
• Rinse, shampoo, and condition: Apply the CC ColorSeal™ Conditioner (#3) or the Shimmer Lights Violet Toning Mask. Use the CC ColorSeal™ Conditioner once a week.

HELPFUL TIP: Your kit includes a bonus packet of Shimmer Lights Violet Toning Mask! Use immediately after you have lightened for a cool natural tone or 1-2 weeks after lightening to prevent any unwanted brassy tones
