  • Ideal for permed, tinted or relaxed hair Rebuilds hair structure for six weeks Stops hair breakage
Aphogee Two Step Protein Treatment is a unique treatment formulated with magnesium and modified proteins which fuse into the hair with the application of heat. The result is that breakage is drastically reduced. ApHogee Two-Step Protein Treatment is a salon service product unlike any product available for at-home use. During the process, ApHogee treatment hardens into the hair, dramatic evidence that something special is occurring.
  • Shake well before use. Gently cleanse hair with ApHogee Shampoo. Rinse thoroughly and towel blot. Apply enough ApHogee Treatment to thoroughly saturate hair and comb blend for even distribution. Leave hair uncovered. Do not use a plastic cap, and seat client under medium heat dryer. (Alternatively, a hand dryer may be used, but hair should not be agitated while drying.)

Note: When ApHogee Treatment is dried into the hair, the hair becomes extremely hard. Do not comb or brush hair while ApHOGEE Treatment is dried and in the hair. Re-wet and gently rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Apply ApHogee Moisturizer to hair and scalp. Leave for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Proceed to next service or style as usual.

  • CAUTION: Please read and follow instructions on back label carefully! Use Aphogee Balancing Moisturizer after use of the Two Step Protein Treatment. Requires heat for best results. When protein has dried, do not bend or agitate hair. Always rinse thoroughly with luke warm water and follow with Balancing Moisturizer. For color treated hair, it is best to use prior to freshining color. Two-Step Protein Treatment is for Professional Use. For best results a hooded dryer is required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miracle in a bottle This product has literally transformed my hair in minutes. I've spent the past few years and a ridiculous amount of money on products to help my very dry and brittle hair. My hair was lifeless, couldn't hold moisture, and was a mess. I receive so much breakage anytime I simply touched my hair. Whenever I washed or deep conditioned, there were balls of hair that would come out. Moisturizing deep conditioners wouldn't penetrate and I avoided "protein-treatments" because I thought dry hair = need more moisture, not protein. I now realize that my hair needed the protein to hold onto the moisture. I just washed my hair, and this is the first time in years that I didn't leave hair balls in the shower. My hair (natural, fine, 4a/3c) looks and FEELS so strong, healthy, and moisturized. This is now a holy grail product for me. I don't know yet how often I will use it (bottle suggests every 6 weeks, but I'm going to keep an eye on my hair, and use it as needed and when I need that boost of protein).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Aphogee treatment vs. deep moisturizing treatment I’m still waiting to see results... I will repeat the treatment every week to restore my damaged hair. I’m just not sure if protein is what I need vs. moisture, so I’m going to do a deep moisturizing treatment and compare the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from APHOGEE This really works. I was having a breakage problem with my hair and I used the two-step product every 6 weeks before and after a chemical process. The breakage slowed and my hair became healthy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's honestly a life saver! I brought this product earlier this year. I had used it before it and it ruined my hair because i didn't use it properly, but if this is your first time using it use the moisture treatment that they recommend! Remember this is protein and the product is meant to be used every 2 months? for damaged hair I use it every 2 months whenever doing a protective style my hair can take it but you might have be protein sensitive. So make sure to do your research! But for it's use it does as advertised and then some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stops breakage This product stops breakage instantly when you use it! You have to use a spray bottle to apply it.Once it dries, your’ll notice no hair she’d in the sink. It does smell bad BUT it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curl Rescue in a Bottle After years of relaxing and pressing I was left with lifeless and extreme heat-damaged hair. I recently went natural over a year ago and my curls were still lifeless and stringy. I decided to cut most of the damage away but still experienced the same lifeless results. After researching the Aphoge Two Step Protein Treatment I decided to purchase and try the combo packet. To my amazement it brought most of my heat-damaged curls back!! I was doubtful that this product would do the job...but it did. I now have hope for my hair and I will continue to buy this treatment.

So I forgot you needed to wash your hair before putting this on my hair was dry. My directions where ruined will it make a big difference? I am bummed and afraid its not gonna work . I made sure i used a lot

Asked by: Worried dry
The treatment should be applied to clean hair to ensure the product is able to penetrate all the strands. If you have a lot of product buildup the treatment may not be as effective because it can’t penetrate through the buildup on the hair strands. You should apply to clean hair and follow up with a good moisturizing conditioner.

My hair was soft and smooth but frizzy. So did permanent straightening. After that my hair has become very dry, frizzy and breaks a lot. Can I use this?

Asked by: Sandy262
Yes, but use with caution, better yet have a professional to apply it.  Certain medications can cause this to happen too, check with your doctor.

Is the step one safe to use with a blow dryer? On what setting..hi or low? Directions say it’s ok to use hand held blow dryer but hair should not be agitated...what does that mean?

Asked by: Michelle R
It means: don't blow your hair all over your head, in all different directions. Try to keep your hair in a uniform manner as it dries.

Is this a wash in rinse like I received at salon?

Asked by: So damaged
Not quite. You apply the protein treatment to your hair, and dry it until hardened. Then you carefully rinse it out.

Can i use it with heat head cap

Asked by: Rahma1155
No the protein must dry hard with a blow dryer or hard hat dry to bond to the hair. It must be completely dry then rinsed You may use a heat cap with step 2.
