Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nah... Didn’t work for me and my curls. I have 3c curls. My hair felt kinda waxy once my hair dried and not enough hold for this Louisiana humidity. Style lasted maybe half the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best At Any Price There is no better curl creme for my very baby fine but extremely thick curls. It never weighs my hair down, I can spray my hair with water and reinvigorate my curls a day or even two after shampooing. I've tried so many expensive salon brand products and always come back to this.

Can this be used for natural straight hair to make it have beach waves

Asked by: Nevaeh7706
I would say no-I use it on my own natural curls and a friend uses it on her permed hair. My own daughter has straight hair and tried it but it did not produce any wave at all.

My hair is wavy, Will this help create curls? If not what will?

Asked by: Cjean442
Yes, and will diminish the effects of humidity on your curls. I use this product every time I wash my hair and have for at least 4 years.

Does this work for permed hair or is it just for natural curly hair? What's it smell like?

Asked by: Bernie89
It works really great on permed hair too!!! For best results, dampen hair first, then put some in the palm of your hand, rub palms together, then apply by scrunching onto hair. Let dry naturally. Then for more volume, wet finger tips, rub onto just scalp, then blow dry [with diffuser] with your head upside down. If you have thin hair, you can tease it and style it with your fingers. Don't forget to use a good hard hold hairspray. Doing this can last for a week! Just tweak your do by dampening your hands and re-scrunching tips of hair.

How strong is the fragrance of this product? I am very fragrance sensitive.

Asked by: Moadster
I am also sensitive to some fragrance. Unlike other conditioners and hair gels, the fragrance is very mild. Parfum is listed as an ingredient, yet it is minimal as is the alcohol smell. There is also a slight touch of almond so if you have a nut allergy that may be of concern.

Would this product work well with my thin curly/wavy hair or will it weigh my hair down?

Asked by: Light995
It weighed my hair down and i have thick curly hair. I'm not sure thin hair will do well with this product. I like the argon oil curl cream that Sally's sells. Its fairly light weight and gives a nice unfruzzy to my hair. But to be honest I haven't been impressed with any of their beyond the zone products. They do not work well for my hair.

Used Samy Big Curls lightweight curl creme for years- can't find it ANYwhere. Loved the way it managed my wavy hair and also the lovely scalp tingle when I worked it in. Anyone tried Samy's b4 and how does this one compare? Thanks.

Asked by: Naminator
Okay, so I'll answer this one myself. I went ahead and purchased the Noodlehead creme and while it's not quite as invigorating as the Samy product was, it has a low grade tingle when rubbed into hair and scalp which is refreshing. I love the way it preps my wavy hair for styling with a blowdryer/diffuser combo. I'm about out so it's time to re-stock. Really like the product.
