Jamaican Mango and Lime Black Castor Oil is a natural, deep penetrating, all purpose healing oil formulated to moisturize and heal dry skin, hair and nails. The blend is infused with organic herbs and nourishing ingredients for the ultimate moisturizing and aromatic experience.

This is a powerful all-purpose,soothing oil roasted and grounded from the Jamaican black castor oil bean then boiled to produce 100% pure castor oil. These pure and unrefined oils retain their nutritive properties, making them great for skin softening, moisturizing massage oils or hot oil treatments for dry, damaged hair.

  • Skin and nails: Apply to dry skin and nails to restore hydration. Reapply as often as needed. Hot oil treatment: Heat water in a microwave safe bowl for 30-45 seconds. After water has been heated, place bottle in water until desired warmth is achieved. Do not heat bottle in microwave. Massage a generous amount of product into hair and scalp. Cover hair with plastic cap and sit under dryer for 15-30 minutes. Aromatherapy: Slightly heat to a warm temperature and use for a sensual massage oil.

  • For daily use, apply a generous amount to your root and scalp. Massage oil into your scalp using your fingertips to rejuvenate scalp and replenish hair moisture. Can be used as a hot oil treatment to repair and protect dry, brittle hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the feel and smell I bought this on a whim one day and I'm glad I did. I've had bad issues with psoriasis and this is one of the only few products that actually help. It also has helped my thinning hair on top. I also want to add depending on your hair type you may need more or less than a pea size drop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Word Use I'm going to be real here, this product works. It's good. Its amazing. But the reason I'm giving this a one star review is the words they use in description. The packaging used to say "Helps to Prevent Split Ends" and now it says "R E T A R D S Split Ends". It wouldn't even let me spell it out, and marked it as profanity. Personally, I understand the textbook dictionary definition of the word r e t a r d s. "Pull back, hold up, etc, etc". But the way people have used this word now a days, how do you expect people to understand your wording? I read the wording, and did my mind jump to "hold up"? No, it jumped to all the times I have heard the word "r e t a r d" thrown around to degrade and humilate. Instead you can use "Repair" or maybe even "Prevent". All in all, this is a good product, but the packaging turns me away. And the fact that I'm being flagged for profanity while using the correct terminology written on the packaging, wow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn't Get Much Better Than This! This is a staple in every style! Great for braiding too. NO build up! Easy to wash out! However it will only get you through half the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing stuff!! I absolutely love this product! I got it because my hair is thinning and heard it does wonders. I've only been using it 5 days and have already noticed baby hair growth on my crown. I love the smell and found it washes out very well with my Argan oil shampoo. Baking soda added to normal shampoo will work, too, as it acts as a great clarifier. Will definitely buy this again. It's also working wonders on my nails and skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very greasy. Very strong smell. Very disappointed. I bought this to treat my scalp because, recently, I've had a few small bald patches that come and go. It's difficult to use this in my hair at all because it is so greasy! My hair is dry and highly porous so normally I don't have any problems absorbing oils, but this oil seems to just sit on the hair. Even if I put it on overnight it still looks like a grease pit in the morning. Also, it has carrot oil in it that produces a very strong odor, and makes me smell like I've doused myself in carrot juice perfume. I had to mix some chamomile essential oil in it just to make it tolerable. I finally tried it as a hot oil treatment and it worked "ok," although it left my hair tangled after I washed it out. I've had better results with Macadamia oil, meadowfoam oil, or even extra virgin olive oil. I won't be using this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Wonders for Me. I have been under a lot of stress and my hair had been falling out/shedding to the point of thin spots in my scalp. My hair also was noticeably thinner. I bought 4 different kinds of hair, skin and nails vitamins and they helped my nails but my hair continued to fall out. I read on blogs about people having good results with black castor oil and essential oils. I was concerned it would be too "heavy" for my fine hair but decided to try it. I bought this and the rosemary. This one has a slightly fruity smell, very pleasant. It is an orange color but I haven't had problems with staining. (I do put a towel on my pillowcase and sleep with it in my hair once a week and 1-2 times a week I massage it in my scalp, put on a plastic cap and leave for an hour before shampooing.) I noticed much less hair in my comb after the first week of using. I also stopped using sulfate shampoos completely. After eight months my scalp is back to where it was. The thin spots are gone. I did end up cutting my long straight hair into a short bob. It was hard letting go of my longer hair but it looked thin and sparse. With this new cut you can see the new growth and the castor oil seems to have a thickening effect on the rest of my hair. Maybe the vitamins are kicking in too? Don't be too heavy handed with the oil. I put it on my finger tips and gently massage it into my scalp, section by section. I use it on dry hair. I run a little through the rest of my hair and put a plastic cap on. If you use too much you can always put apple cider vinegar 50-50 with water in a spray bottle and spray roots before shampooing. I also have found the castor oil relieves dry, itchy winter scalp. I started putting a drop of this in my face cream and it has done wonders for my skin. It has an orangey color but if you use sparingly I find it brightens my medium skin tone. It also has helped my hormonal acne that has been flaring. Squalane oil is the only other oil I have found that didn't make acne flare on my skin. This has really helped my under eye dry skin and I use it on my brows too. My eyebrows have not had great growth but I had been tweezing them for 22 years and stopped a few years ago. They do look better though.

Can I use this for grow lashes or to get fuller eyebrows?

Asked by: Deruloxd
yes but this product contains perfumes so I would avoid the lash area. The brow is fine.

Can I apply the castor oil on my eye lashes and eyebrows for growth and length

Asked by: DaisyMedal
You can but this one contains perfumes so I would limit the use around the eyes. Would just make your own blend without the fragrance in it for the lashes. I use it on my brows because I have psoriasis and it helps with the flakes I get in them. I have no issues.
