How long does this developer last (expires)?

Asked by: Fudge123
I heard the shelf life is 6 years. I'm not positive though. Check with manufacturer! If you keep developer cap on tightly and store the product in a cool dark place, it will stay fresh and last longer.

It depends on the brand of colour. It will give you mixing instructions on back of colour or on inside of box.

Is this ammonia free?

Asked by: JenPen22
No there is no ammonia in developer, but permanent colors contain ammonia. If you don't want ammonia I would recommend a semi permanent color and its matching developer. But remember semi colors only deposit they do not lift.
