The first time I tried your Wella Color Charm T14, the clerk mistankenly gave me 30 developer, and that's what I've continued with. I want to go silver but the back of my head is still brown. Should I stay with the 30, or go to the 20?

Asked by: Lara8747
I am very satisfied with my 30 developer but I do use it with soy miss clariol permanent hair color. The label says if you use a 20 it just takes longer for the color to settle in your hair. Hope that helps !!

Trying to find a good bleach that will get purple out of my hair. I'm a natural blonde but want to get all the color out and start over. Think this will work?

Asked by: Ambershell
I use this developer with the L'Oreal Super Blue product. Works great to remove color. Don't leave on more than 20-30 minutes.

I have box dye red hair and I am trying to go blond. I have bleach my hair twice but it still red orange should I use 30 volume or 40 volume?

Asked by: Britt0831
No that’s just damaging your hair and you don’t want that get a good clarifying shampoo and wash your hair with it for a week and your hair should be stripped of the red orange color to where it’s a blondish color you also wanna make sure you get shampoo and conditioner that’s for color treated hair and a hair treatment So that you can repair your hair from any type of damage

Which creme developer doesn't totally fry your hair but still will give me blonde. I can't remember if its 30 or 20 that i usually get?

Asked by: babydoll104
30 is kinda strong... Use the 20... its definitely better for ure hair... You can actually get the same results if if u just leave the 20 dev in your hair a lil longer & it's not as badd for your hair as 30... Good Luck

I recently buzzed my (virgin) black hair. I want to bleach it as light as possible and then dye it a pastel color. Should I go with the 30 volume since my hair is so dark? Or should I do a 20 volume because the heat from my scalp lifts it faster?

Asked by: lillianb
The heat from your scalp will lift it faster! I would use the 20 volume if the length is under 1/2". I would recommend a coat of coconut oil on your scalp 1st to help buffer from the chemicals. On the scalp can be quite bothersome, red, peeling, etc if not using caution. Put a shower cap (wrapping a grocery plastic bag works in a pinch) on after to keep it moist and activated. Have fun!

I have black medium thick straight virgin hair and I want to go medium brown. Is this a good developer?

Asked by: Chelsea44
Yes, but you could probably easily use 20 instead since you’re not trying to lighten many shades.
