Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my sensitive scalp! I used this because I’ve previously had blonde hair YEARS AGO and I had dyed my hair black about 4 years ago due to the salon that I went to closing down I didn’t trust anyone with my blonde locks so I decided to go dark so I wouldn’t deal with it anymore and then I never dyed it again so it was completely faded and i only had dye on the tips of my hair everything else was new grown out hair which was awesome cuz I know everyone says black dye is horrible to take out! Lol and I wanted to keep my natural hair color but bleach my sides without having that nasty burning feeling and this did WONDERS! I lifted my hair to a level 8 with just bleaching it the first time then went back in with a bleach bathe so I wouldn’t fry my hair and I got to a level 9 and even when I did my roots at the end I didn’t feel any burning AT ALL i definitely went out and bought an extra bottle to keep to refresh my roots when needed it’s AMAZING because I have a super super sensitive scalp and i would highly recommend it to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For light blonde use a 30 volume developer! This product i also didnt recieve my seco d order. But the first one i got worked well but may affect the color result because with regular developer 30 volume you can achive a lighter blonde shade. But it didnt irritate my skin or scalp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No scalp irritation! This worked great on my mom's scalp, she didn't have an irritated skin or itching after using this which is great because she would be itching her head for days after using box dyes. Left her hair shiny without too much damage, would definitely use this again.

How much developer and color charm 3n/311 will I need to cover grays? They are sparse about 1 inch. Also how many drops of gray magic will I need to retouch grays?

Asked by: momneedshelp
I do 2 to 1 on color.  So if you mix 2 oz color use 4 oz of developer.  I’ve used the gray magic before but not in a long time.  As I remember it was about 10 drops per oz.  I think the directions are with gray magic.

I’ve been dying my hair with black box dye I’m trying to get rid of the black and trying for a light ash brown color what are the steps to achieve that hit color ?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello! You'll first want to use a lightener (such as Ion Color Brilliance Bright White Creme Lightener) with this 20 vol developer to lift some of the black. Then, use this developer with an Ion Permanent Creme hair color (such as 6A Dark Ash Blonde or 7A Dark Ash Blonde) depending on how dark your hair still is after lightening, and the color you are trying to achieve. Do your best! Hair grows back.

Witch volumiser is better to color hair to be lighter hair color

Asked by: Twinkie6790
Hello, to bleach your hair I would recommend 30 vol to 40 vol, because the lower volume of 20 and 10 barely bleaches and it's better for when you're just coloring lighter hair darker.

What is the best volume developer to use on colored red/brown hair to cover grays and lasts longer than a couple of weeks?

Asked by: DJMannen
I'm not an expert, a consumer just like you ... however I think your fading isn't due to the developer. Do not shampoo for at least 24 hours after color, do be sure to rinse out all the color. I use an 'after color sealer' (ION brand) leaving on for a few minutes then rinsing out. Good luck!
