Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle on Southeast Asian Hair and great smelling. greats smell and gentle on my hair (I'm from an South east Asian country. Originally, my hair was black, but because I have grey hair - this has changed a bit. I really like this developer because it accomplished the bleaching of my hair to several levels yet was gentle. Very good value for the money. Exceeded expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect to use for long hair+on scalp If you can only get one developer this is perfect because it is efficient enough to colour long hair but gentle enough for the scalp for a short time (go from ends to roots and use caution)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real find! Thank you for this Creme Developer which takes into account scalp sensitivity. I used Ion Brilliant 12 Intense Neutrals 8NN and 6NN in equal quantities with Volume 30 Creme Developer. My scalp and hair are in fine condition. Bleached hair twice before coloring.

So If it expires on 11/30/18, why would I still get it? I wouldn't mind buying it if it still works after expiring. I just want a definate yes that it will work the same before wasting money.

Asked by: LLjag180
I checked my bottle and didn't see an expiration date.It The large bottle lasts a long time as I only color my hair about every 6 weeks and I have not had any issues with it not working properly. .You can contact the company directly as to whether it is still good to use after 11/3/18.

I usually use the normal Ion 20 developer, but I want my hair to go lighter when dying it black cherry, I have thin/fine hair, and I’m worried about damaged.. will this damage my hair?

Asked by: Olivia S
I have thin fine curly hair, I tried using the ion 30 developer but found that I liked the 20 better. but I use the extra light ash blonde in the l'oreal brand. don't know if that makes a difference.

so i have blonde hair it's about golden blonde with a little darker tent. I'm looking for a way to make my hair like a whitesh blonde will this work and with what? Also i'm trying to stay away from percent dye so more of a lightening powder. Thanks

I’ve used this to get my hair to a white. My hair is black and I took about 2 months to get to a white and I used wells t18 toner and purple shampoos. I had to let the toner and purple shampoos sit awhile longer in my hair so that it went to a white at the very end of the 2nd month. The purple in the shampoo and toner cancels out yellow. But using this developer on the scalp of my hair also helped get it to white. Hope this helps.

I have used loreal hicolor red hot, will i still acheive black cherry color and what number developer should i use?

Asked by: Enicita77
To my experience the 30 will result in a shade lighter it does help color if you have grays or resistant to color hair. I’m not a colorist, but I’d use 20 for it come out the darker shade.
