Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped Soften Level 2 black hair I had my hair done at the salon, it was a level 2, and it just too dark and intense. All I wanted to do was tone it down a few notches. I followed the directions they had on there, I left the product on for 45 minutes. It worked. I see some reddish tones in the dark, that I’m going to neutralize myself, other than than, I’m very satisfied!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful At Removing Color I had faded purple hair that had turned hot pink. Im no newbie when it comes to changing colors so when they were out of my usual remover I gave this a try. Honestly? Its terrible, I followed the directions and nothing happened it didnt even lighten it one level. Very dissapointed especially because the price is kind of high for the ammount you get and if you have longer/thicker hair you would need more then one packet. Maybe it works best on natural colors or something but if thats the case it should be marketed like that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE PRODUCT! I tried this product to remove the red and blue out of my hair, it did nothing! I had read some good reviews but they LIED. My hair looks the exact same and I wasted my time and money on this product. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I recommend it I bought 3 packets! I had dark red hair at first. I ended up bleaching it before using these packets. My hair looks so better, the red/orange tints are not showing up ( I didn’t use toner) my hair is healthy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent product but needs better directions So I decided to try this product since I only wanted to fade my color because the next color I'm applying has similar undertones. I recently gave my hairdryer to my mother so I did not apply heat to my hair either. My hair is very short so I mixed a 1 to 1.5 ratio of the mix and 30 vol developer no water. I only dampened my hair beforehand I did not shampoo it because I already did that earlier in the day. My hair was a dark red/violet (permanent) color. I worked the mixture in, put a processing cap on, and then wrapped my head in a towel to keep the heat in. I checked after about 25 minutes and didnt see the full reaction I wanted so I left it in for a full hour. I washed my hair as instructed once with a clarifying shampoo, then with my anti-dandruff shampoo, and finally just standard shampoo. Upon my hair drying Not only was the color gone but also some of the color I had before that was removed and I had some blonde in my hair. No damage whatsoever. Some of the orange/copper color I had in it before the red/violet color was exposed. Very happy with the results. It worked so well I'm going to give it another go and remove more color before applying my new color. If you have long or thick hair you might want to buy a few packets or go for a different product in a box. Good luck! Hope my review helps

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked good on my blue/greenish hair I did the process twice on my hair and it lightened it a lot. I dyed my hair with Arctic Fox and it worked like a charm. Everyone says it won’t work on blue or green hair but it worked really well on mine leaving parts of it blonde and parts a baby blue. It won’t 100% get rid of the color but it’ll definitely lighten it. Everyone’s hair is different so do this at your own risk (-:

Will this take burgundy/dark hot pink out of light brown hair?

Asked by: Rivery95
I did this on my dark brown hair and there was no change whatsoever! I never repurchased, there are better ones on the market.

Does this work better on dry hair or damp hair

Asked by: Haley6697
I used it on my hair when it was damp; it’s not meant to lift a lot of color but it does make it a shade or two lighter.

Hello, I used manic panic black, tried to fade with anti dandruff shampoo and now have blue and purple hair. Reviews state this doesn’t work, would this be effective for my situation? thanks

Asked by: Pandapanda
hey, I'm in the same situation as you. I tried color oops as it usually works for me and this time it left me with blue and purple hair with some green after two uses. It smells HORRIBLE and you have to wash your hair for twenty mins then shampoo like three or four times. It's not fun... Or healthy... BUT it did lighten it some. Tbh with these kinds of things you just have to risk it. But if anything just refer to the color wheel and try to cancel colors out if needed.

Would this be more effective if I used developer instead of water? If yes, 10vol or 20vol?

Asked by: Emilym22
The instructions do NOT say to use a developer. Just 4oz. room temperature water.

Can I recolor immediately after using this product or will it fade my new colors quickly? My reason for using this product is to put in new colors because I'm sick of the colors I have now. I want to wash this out and immediately do new colors, can I?

Asked by: CandiceB
When I used this product it didn’t remove the color so I just colored over it was the new color I wanted and it worked fine.
