Rated 4 out of 5 by from USE HEAT; Does work My hair was fading from blue to green and the green would not get out of my blonde hair. I applied the remover, placed a bag over my hair and placed a heating pad on my head for 45 minutes and it removed a lot of the green pigment. Did this twice and the results were very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This worked for me! This got my hair, dyed with black brown box dye to a nice medium brown with one use! I will be trying again to see how much I can lift before having to use bleach!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Idk what these other reviews are talking about. It took all of Ion Permanent Brights Sapphire out of my hair! Applied, then put on a processing cap, then used my blow dryer on it on high for only 15 minutes!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from easy to use This only faded the permanent color but in all fairness, I did not have the capabilities to put my head under heat as directed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, for the most part I have used this product fairly often. I have come to notice that it does not lift my natural hair color. I have to use a few applications but I'm okay with that as it leaves my hair feeling much better than when I started. This works as a precursor to bleach as you don't have to do as many bleachings. Overall, it's a good product for the price and does not damage your hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your time and money! I followed the directions and it did nothing! When I went to rinse it out the water was clear! It didn’t remove any of my dye!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much Better Than Expected This really works, if you do it right. I used this to take Arctic Fox dyes out of my hair. I applied it to dry hair and it pulled a ton of color out. You will need to do more than one application though, but it doesnt damage your hair like a lot of other color removers will. It also did not lighten my roots either. It did leave a slight smell but nothing horrible, also left my hair feeling soft.

I made the mistake of using metallic salts on my hair using schwarzkopf metallics cosmic teal and I was told by a associate at  a local sally store I could use this without it damaging my hair and making it fall out, can I use this product on my hair?

Asked by: Foxiii30
No.  I just used this on my sons hair to get our manic panic blue and it did nothing.  BUT I did mine with color fix (the one in a box with argan oil) Schwarzkopf metallics purple and it took every bit out back to blonde!  I was super impressed even though I gagged bc it smelled SOOOO BAD!  Lol

Will this work on blue hair that faded to green? It’s a 3 year old who was blonde & didn’t need bleach & I used iron semi permanent blue

Asked by: Kt55leee
It might take 1 or 2 treatments, but make a small batch and then try it on a strand of hair to see how well it will come out.

Would this get permant red or purple hair out and then I’d dye it dark brown

Asked by: Maria177
so yes this hair remover does help to get out the color but it doesn't remove it entirely if the previous color was permanent. I had dyed my hair a maroon red color and after about five months I got tired of it and wanted to touch up did this hair remover and it removed most of it but it was still a little bit orange so I had to go back in with a toner to get my natural color. If you're just using it to get most of the color out just to redye then you should be good.
