Rated 4 out of 5 by from Y’all are doing it wrong For the people saying it did nothing for your hair.. YOU NEED TO USE DEVELOPER WITH IT. It’s no different than powder lightener, just in cream form.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good results! This was not on my radar, but it came up as an option after I searched on another product, one which I have used. I thought I'd try this. It was so much more gentle, yet it lifted about 4 or 5 levels in 20 minutes. I will say it doesn't deposit color, it's not going to make your hair gold, unless you already have a lot of gold in it, which I did. I notice it's a bit brassy so I'll have to use some purple shampoo, then do my white roots with a light gold in 9 or 10 to match the rest of the hair. I used 20 Vol and followed directions to a T, 4 oz of developer with the 2 packets, then mix in the 2 oz of liquid lightener. It made enough to do the entire head to the ends, and my hair is well below my shoulders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Best lightener I’ve used! I read a few reviews were it was mentioned that this product was good only to lighten a couple of levels but that’s not what I discovered; I’ve used this product on my hair and also on a friends hair. We both wanted to lighten 3 levels and got the result we were looking for in about 30-35 minutes. The best part? NO damage to our hair

Will this product remove hair color and bring back your natural hair color

Asked by: NaNaDuck24
No, this will lift all color from your hair. If you have colored your light hair dark, it will lighten it, but it will not go back to its natural color.

I have dyed black hair. Will this still work for my hair

Asked by: Allison95
It will but you will have to do it several times but with black hair any bleach you use you will have to do several times. I have been bleaching my hair for 20 years amd i have medium dark hair and have to bleach it 2-3 times. I do like this product a lot.

Can I use this if my hair is dark reddish brown?

Asked by: Jazzy187
Yes, should work for you. My hair is medium brown (about level 5) and it works very quickly, even lightens semi-perm colour (to an extent).

I have medium dark brown hair and want to lighten it I’m using this box of lightener what developer should I use?

Asked by: Sammie1267
Jackie, I use 20 volume sensitive scalp developer by Ion with Ion cream oil lightener. It gets my hair to pale yellow in 45 - 60 minutes. Higher volume developer may damage your hair with bleach. You will probably have to lighten it in 2 stages about 7 to ten days apart, deep conditioning in between. Apply one inch from scalp or you’ll have much lighter roots due to scalp heat. Do not use heat!!!  After 20 to 30 minutes apply to roots, for a total processing time of 60 minutes. Your hair will be yellow-orange. The second application will hopefully get you to pale yellow. I use Ion demi permanent toner in Snow Cap with Ion 10 volume developer. Ion makes a variety of toners. Good luck!!

Do I need additional items to use this product?

Asked by: Sxibrt111
You need developer too. The developer you need depends on the number of levels you're lightening. You need gloves, and you may want an applicator brush and tin foil if you're doing streaks.

How much developer and how much ion oil lightener, ion activator and developer should I use?

I have very short hair 1 to 2 inch on top and a fade on the bottom. Can I use only one activator packet? If so what are the ratios developer and lightened oil?

Asked by: Sniqster
I have always used 2 with a little left over. You could try 1 with 2 oz. Crème Oil Lightener and 2 oz. Crème Peroxide. Hope it works.

Is it permanent?

Asked by: Lou11234
Yes and no when i did it to my hair about 6-7 months ago it’s still there but it faded a lot so if you want to keep it lightened spit 1-2 times a month or so
