Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't work as well as I had hoped or heard Had my natural dark ash blonde ( a level 6) and previous color-it did not lift the previous color that much. Made the medium reddish brown a dark orange. I did a bleach bath AND a round of regular bleaching and still didn't get to where I would have with other lightners. Wouldn't buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I had bought this sooner!! After three tries on a bleach kit and not really getting anywhere I finally looked into a good lifting/bleach powder and THIS STUFF was it!! My hair lifted amazingly and even lifted at least 4 shades where my ends were still pretty dark. I thought my hair would NEVER lift but this stuff was perfect! Super thick and easy to apply

Can I use 30 volume on my roots I know it says not too but when I use 20 volume it doesn’t lift my roots light enough my natural colour is very dark and my hair just ends up looking orange but my goal is yellow so it can be toned down to platinum

Asked by: Lauralynn25
I've gone all the way to 40 volume and got enough lightening to get the yellow. I also extend out the time process. I pay very close attention to my hair and finish with repair solution to get moisture back in. Quality products, careful processing and quality after care. You should be fine.

First I’m going to use the Radical Color Remover to hopefully remove the auburn red color then use a lightener... will this work for me to change hair color to maybe blue or purple?? want to avoid as much bleach as I possibly can!!!

Asked by: Ibillbe1225
Yes but big may turn your hair blonde if you don't leave it in long enough.

How many packets will I need for bra length somewhat think hair. I planning to do like a ombre and dye it pink.

Asked by: sassybooklover
Probably like 3 or 4 but you might be better off getting the tub. & don't forget red/gold corrector in the urple packets or get purple dye /shampoo to rid brassy color... It'll make your pink brighter.

You should take a photo of Kim K and take it to a hair consultant. It takes a lot of time and money.

How well does this work after using the Radical Color Remover?? Trying to not actually bleach hair just lighten medium/light brown hair enough to add some kind of blue or purple to it.

Asked by: Ibillbe1225
the only way you will be able achieve a purple/blue hue is lightening hair to a level 8. there are 10 levels of hair. 1 being the darkest ( black), 10 being the lightest ( platinum ) you will need to bleach you hair. if you're hair is a level 5/6 ( medium/light brown) you will need to use a 30 developer. leave in for recommended time. which should take you to a level 8/9, TONE your hair with a blue or purple toner. then that will leave you hair with an ashy color. and if you dont want blonde ashy hair. you can dye it to a darker brown color that will leave you with the cool purple blue tones. NOW If you want to be able to SEE the blue/ purple color you will have to dye your hair with a blue/purple hair dye. manic panic, works well. otherwise if you want to make your hair a cool color without actually seeing the blue purple. follow steps above. color remover will only remove the dye you have in your hair. not lighten or darken, or tone.

Can I mix this with my hair dye?

Asked by: Baby1965
No, bleach is meant to be applied independently as it’s purpose is to remove pigment. The key is to keep an eye on how fast your hair is lifting. Once you achieve the blonde or color you desire, rinse the bleach out of your hair. Depending on what color blonde came through you may need to tone your hair with violet base or ash to cancel a yellow or orange tone.  If your hair does lighten to an orange tone that means you didn’t leave the bleach on long enough.  However you should consult a professional and ask their opinion first before you start at home treatments because bleaching your hair can be tricky
