Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less isn’t more This was my first time purchasing this product. I ended up having to send my fiancé to get another packet because 1 was NOT enough! I have very short hair and didn’t think I’d need 2 but alas I did! Would recommend getting more than You think you need; unless you’ve got someone who can dash to the store for you while you’ve got product on your hair!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like Sand Aside from the extremely gritty texture this works ok. Very difficult to apply though; it’s like trying to work with wet sand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time use I was scared to bleach my own hair because I had never done so. My natural hair is very dark brown ( almost black ) and I bought 6 packets and bleached my hair twice and it didn’t damage my hair very much and the color came out wonderful. 10/10 will use again.

How many packets should I buy?  I have little bit past shoulder length thick hair. I only wanna do the bottom half tho

Asked by: Taylor245
I used it on just a segment of my hair and it depends on the thickness of your hair. I'd recommend getting the tub of this product.

I have black hair and want to dye my hair a light purple and white but don’t want to bleach it what can I use

Asked by: Fatima676
If yer hair is black w artificial color/dye, it is impossible to lift light enough to apply any light color/pastels as bleach will not remove enough of the black, even if you re-apply; artificial black never lightens enough and hair will break off if you keep bleaching. On the other hand, if yer hair is virgin and free of any permanent color, then you should be able to lighten enough, without or minimal damage. You absolutely have to lighten (bleach) to achieve yer goal.

My hair color is black and I've grown tired of dyeing my hair black. I want to change the color to something lighter like caramel by Wella. How do I go about changing my hair color?

Asked by: Rosalind S
I recommend purchasing some color oops to remove the dye build up on your hair. My hair was black a month or so ago. I used color oops, and it returned my hair to the light auburn red it was before. Color oops is not harmful to your hair, and is not like bleach, so it is safe to use before a bleaching, but I do recommend waiting at least a week before bleaching after using Color Oops. Because while it is not harmful or full of harsh chemicals, it does leave your hair a bit dried out, so I would spend a week or so deep conditioning before your bleaching. If used properly, it should leave you with a nice reddish color, but it honestly depends on what your hair color was before the black. Be sure to follow the directions.

I'm returning to my natural color at 56 its a silver/gray color, still have 4-6" of previously dyed hair light ash brown, now more of a light reddish brown, if i bleach will it go to blonde, red, gray and would this bleach be the correct one to use?

Asked by: janalyn64
Bleaching takes all color out of hair and will not return it to natural state.. it’ll defiantly turn it blonde that’s the color everyone’s hair is without any tent.. I suggest using the bleach and using a bright white hair dye.. then going over it with toner which will give you the grey color back and you can use toner after your hairs natural again just to keep the ashy look if you’d like.. if you bleach your hair watch closely it will bleach fast if your hair naturally grey

I have long, dark virgin hair that ends below my chest, and I'm looking to bleach 3-4 in of my ends. I bought 2 packets and am planning to mix them 1:2 with 30 vol developer. Would this be enough for a double process?

Asked by: lw202021
It will be just based on the ratio your using, however the consistency will be watery if you use to much 30 volume which could impact the potency. Always go for more packets that’s the best policy to ensure you have enough.

Can I use 30 developer ?

Asked by: Ashleyjolly
Yes, but do not leave it on your hair for long. It will bleach out quickly and break damaged hair off.
