Rated 3 out of 5 by from does the job. It’s definitely not the best decent. it does the job. it’s definitely not the best bleach you can find. Youll need toner when you use it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Transformed my hair! I'm a natural Level 5-6, which is quite dark, and have coloured my hair at home for years. I was always way too nervous of bleach to go there, but my hair was always brassy. Finally fed up with all the brass, I plucked up the courage to do bleach highlights using Color Charm bleach, and the difference is incredible! Together with a toner, I now have my dream blonde! Bleach gets a bad rap, but used properly, the results can be beautiful. I have a LOT of colour on my hair, so I needed to use 40 vol for an off-scalp highlight application. I used about twenty highlight foils, and did not brush the mixture too close to my scalp, so I had no irritation. (I did strand tests with 20 and 30 vols, and only 40 vol did the trick. Please note that 40 vol mixed with bleach should only be used for highlights, and never put onto the scalp.) I found that this bleach didn't work quickly, which might be because it had to strip out so much colour, but I didn't want it to work quickly because I was highlighting, which takes me a while. I left it on for 45 mins to get that banana-yellow shade. Afterward, I toned my entire head using Wella Color Charm toner in CT14, Champagne, which has a blue and violet base. I've found you can't go wrong with it. I used 20 vol, because I've found this this toner fades fast, although that might be due to the minerals/rust/chlorine in our water supply and in our old pipes, and because I don't use cool water. Result: Dream blonde! And it's all down to the bleach. My "before" photos are of how my hair looked using dye (9A Wella Color Charm) plus the same CT toner. Still brassy! Bleach fixed that. This is my first foray into a true double-process - bleach plus toner - and it really worked. I've always tried to lift with colour and then to tone, but it really doesn't work as well. I was always brassy. See the before photos!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does its job Used this to bleach the ends of my hair, I have done 2 rounds over that last couple weeks and it works well. I mixed it with the argan oil 30 volume developer and a couple drops of argan oil. Still fairly warmed toned even with the use of a developer, but my hair has a lot of red in it anyway so it works

Rated 3 out of 5 by from There’s always a BUT... This bleach powder works wonders, it lightens your hair super fast, I’d give it 5 stars just for that... BUT it’s very drying, that’s the only reason I’m giving it 3 stars! If you buy this, do a deep conditioning (moisturizing) treatment immediately afterwords or your hair will feel like hay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never buying the single packs again! My hair is really thick and long, I would have had to buy 4 packs of bleach, so I chose this instead. I was very happy when I opened the tub and saw a measuring scoop, because that was my main concern. As far as the product goes this is the only bleach I trust, once I found it I have never gone back! I'm relieved I don't need to go buy the product when needed the next few times, Im going to for now on purchase by the tub!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan I’ve been using a different lightener for years and decided to try this one because of the reviews. This just takes longer to develop and doesn’t lift as much. I’m a level 2 and need to get my roots to a level 7. With this product, I can reach about a level 6 but parts of it come out spotty and I have to retouch. Tried it twice and not doing it again. Going back to my original.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bleaching powder! I dye my hair crazy colors often, and this bleach is amazing! It doesn't fry my hair and lifts all the blues and pinks from my hair easily. It also works super well with my dark roots and lifts them without getting super yellow!

I used this today, but my ends are still dark! Can i do it again?? How soon m hair is in food condition

Asked by: Chatybug320
It depends on the volume you used and how long you left it on. If you used 30 volume you want to do protein treatments before using the bleach again. I've bleached my hair twice in 2 days with 20 volume before and it has been okay. Your hair will get super dry though.

Is it true that I can use this to bleach y hair & then just use a purple shampoo to tone after

Asked by: Moejoe33
No, chances are, you'll have some kind of patchiness and brassiness to even out that purple shampoo may not fully address. Use a toner with a violet or purple base, then use the purple shampoo occasionally to maintain.

My roots are white. My long hair is dyed black. I want to go silver. Can you recommend a bleaching and what I need to do to achieve this.

Asked by: Dianna63
Go to a professional! It will take a couple appointments to get where you want to go but believe me, in the end, you’ll save your hair and money. It’s harder to fix messed up bleaching jobs and will cost you more in the end. You’re going to have to get the dye out, do all over bleach and then apply the silver.

I went to a salon to get my hair platinum blonde. It's close, but I still have some yellow strands here and there. Would this product help to make my hair lighter? I'm hoping for a cool white platinum blonde. Would I do an all over my hair application?

Asked by: AmyNeedsWhiteBlonde
If you’ve let your hair rest for 2 weeks and can pull a strand (one of the lightest) tight and put a droplet of water on it and it isn’t absorbed in under 10 seconds you should be good to give it another go. If you’re new to this head back to the salon. Yellow hair is better than no hair. Try a toner first...
