I have light brown hair that has natural blonde/ light highlights throughout my hair. I’ve never bleached my hair and I want to try the products for sensitive skin. What should I buy? I’m trying to dye my hair a lavender purple afterwards.

I was planning on doing split dye on my hair and I'm only bleaching half of it I never bleached my roots and its dyed with nutrisse red hair color so how should I bleach it and what developer should I use?

Asked by: Anonymous
I would definitely recommend a color stripper first as box red hair dye doesn’t like to come out; I would use a 20 volume developer to not cause anymore damage and do your roots LAST! start with your ends and let those process for about 20 minutes and then add bleach to your roots and then process for another 10 then rinse it out. If you still have left over color and haven’t reached the level of lightness needed to do whatever color is the final goal, wait a few days and bleach again or do a bleach bath depending on how damaged your hair is.

The developer must be purchased separately. Yes, you can use Salon Care or any brand developer.
