Wella Color Charm Cool Brown Gels contain a built-in brass fighter with underlying “ash” (cool) tone which helps cancel warmth. These cool brown gels feature true to tone color, so results are consistent and reliable with even coverage throughout that is true to the natural rich brown you want. Wella Color Charm Cool Brown Gels are long lasting with fade resistant results.
  • How To Mix: 1:2 Mixing Ratio: Mix Wella Color Charm Gels with Wella Color Charm Developer in a 1:2 mixing ratio. Example: Mix 2oz Wella Color Charm + 4oz Wella Color Charm Developer. Wella suggests mixing Wella Color Charm Gels with a bowl and brush.

Matching Developer: Always use Wella Color Charm Developer for best results.

10 Volume: Use 10 volume Wella Color Charm Developer for going darker or maintaining the same level. (Create 10 Volume by mixing equal parts 20 Volume Wella Color Charm Developer with distilled water).

20 Volume: Use 20 volume Wella Color Charm Developer for gray coverage and lightening up to 2 levels.

30 Volume: Use 30 volume Wella Color Charm Developer for lightening up to 3 levels and for more intense results on dark hair.

Timing: Process Wella Color Charm Gels for 30 – 45 minutes to ensure 100% gray coverage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Intense colors turn hair red! Extremely unhappy- tried to do hair using the Intense Medium Blonde - nightmare. I added a few drop of the violet additive to combat brassiness- there should have been ZERO problems. Instead, bright red! Wella products are generally great but this is a complete disaster, get this product off the shelves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from T27 toned my hair a perfectly, NATURAL golden hue Never going back to box dyes again. I am so shocked with how my brassy heavy highlights turned a beautiful, shimmering, NATURAL looking color. I used T27 to tone my brassy, orange bleach hair to a very natural looking golden dark blonde hue. I reccomend Wella toners for everyone. I don't think I have had a natural looking, multi-toned hair color before. Thank you!

With the rich color tones, gentle formula and 1:2 ratio, it is unbeatable. You can use as much as you need and save the rest for your next coloring. ❤️ Thank you Wella! ❤️

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WAY Too Dark! I had been using L'Oreal, but tried Wella based on suggestion from Sally Beauty. The color was WAY too dark for me, even though it was supposed to be the same color I'd been using for years from the other brand. I will never use Wella again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and colors!! I absolutely love this cool brown line of colors. I have been desperately trying to get my hair a light ash brown/dark blonde for months. Finally!!! I mixed coffee ice cream and root beer float and AMAZING results. Exactly what I have been wanting and the color has yet to fade.

When I color my roots they always come out lighter then the rest of my hair. I only put color on roots and do my ends for about 5 to ten minutes. I use a 20 developer?

Asked by: Hello it is m
Are you leaving the color on for 35-40 minutes? That seems to really help the roots take the color. Also don’t wash your hair afterwards with shampoos, just use water and conditioner until the color really settles. You can also add heat. (A blow dryer works well.)

I have dark brown hair and recently attempted my own ombre. It didn't work out as well as i hoped and am trying to find a way to fix it. I have a bottle of T18 and was wondering if putting it in all of my hair will turn my dark brown orange?

Asked by: kate2020
Yes! Use a demi-permanent with maximum 10 vol developer for deposit only. Anything that says permanent and any stronger developer will lift your hair and increase warmth.

I HAVE DARK BROWN HAIR COLOR ON MY HAIR BUT IT'S WAY TOO HARD LOOKING. I WANT TO USE COLOR CHARM #7BC I DID MY DARK BROWN COLOR ABOUT A MONTH AGO NOW, WHAT KIND OF RESULTS WILL I GET??

Asked by: KATETHESKATE
This is more of a lighter-medium brown in color. I like it and after I do my hair, I wait about a week and have foil highlights put in it.
