Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yay It looked good but my hair was very uneven from recent dye so that was my fault but I’d probably use this again one day

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great at eliminating brass while lifting This dye is what helped me go from bright copper to a beautiful medium ash blonde shade. It took several uses over the course of a couple months to maintain my hairs health, but it worked. Keep in mind this color is very ashy. If you have hair that’s already blonde and not very brassy, it will turn your hair blueish gray. However if your hair is dark, this is what you need to prevent it from turning orange. As my hair got lighter the ash in this shade was too much so I mixed it with the shade Natural Blonde and it worked well, it was enough to neutralize the orange and lift my hair at the same time without it turning grey. P.S if your hair does turn grey don’t panic, the gray washes out after a few days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product I bought this and was really skeptical as after I got home I noticed it said virgin hair. I had tried to bleach my hair sev months ago and i did about 3 times just will not take, so each time ive ended up with brassy, orange hair. Even tho my hair had been bleached, and toned, I still used this product put on head with 40vol developer for left on for 15 minutes and I have the prettiest Ash Blonde, no brassiness and orange is gone.. I will def use this product again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy. Used the Ash Blonde on my medium brown hair with a 40 developer and it barely lifted my hair ONE shade after leaving it on my hair for 45 minutes. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lesson learned I bought the ash blonde to use on my root section to match my ends that are at a violet ashy blonde color because a employee recommend this after I showed her my roots that were at a level 8/9 Yellow blonde and this is what she handed me anyways it turned my hair a greenish color & the platinum parts turned grey/blue it's just really bad.i just hope it washes out

I used this and was wondering if I applied a color remover, would the dye come out?

Asked by: Elc199523
It is a permanent color so maybe not especially if you dyed it on virgin hair. If you dyed it a natural color like blonde, no. But red maybe I’ll only lighten it

Hello! I’m a dark natural copper redhead (starting to gray) and I would like to lighten it to a lighter copper or even a more strawberry for the summer. I have bleached my hair before to a platinum and loved it! wouldbthis product work for me? Thx

What amount of 30 volume developer to use with highlight creme

Asked by: Sunshine629
I tried to use just 30 volume and leave it on for 20 min for the most time but my hair came out too bright, like orange. I have dark brown hair. So I put 1/2 a lid of 30 volume and 1/2 a lid of 10 volume and leave it on for 30 min. And it comes out perfect. 20 volume doesn't take the color good enough. The front hair line i recommend using a small comb in the roots to have a longer lasting color in the front. good luck

What is taking the place of Loreal Excellence Blonde shades since none of the stores are carrying them now?

Asked by: Sandi060
I’m wodnering the same! It was the only dye that would dye my virgin dark brown hair without bleach.... bring back B1, B2 and B3!

Does this have a mix? I only see a tube in the box???

Asked by: TerrieMiller
I'm afraid you have to buy the developer separately. You'll also want to pick up a bottle to mix it in and apply it.

I have black hair and wanna get ash blonde, if I buy hicolor loreal ash blonde will that work on me?

Asked by: Tsuna 101
Hey! No maam... Unfortunately getting our ash blondes is a process. To achieve your desired color properly, your hair will need to be lightened first... I would say once you get to a color a tad lighter than honey blonde... Wait 4-6 weeks before applying HiColor to avoid chemical burns and your hair breaking off. The HiColor will then be able to safely turn your hair into ash blonde.

My hair isn't virgin, it has prevoius colors but I've been using purple shampoo from ion to take away past colors for more than a year. Will this product work since my hair is now black and has been for a year now? I want to dye it lighter without bleach

Asked by: Concon14
If you're hair is dyed black, this will not lift your hair enough. If it is naturally black, it will leave it a reddish brown or med-light brown at best. You will have to bleach and then you can use this as a toner.

Does this have bleach in it?

Asked by: Rain0358
No. The developer strength you use determines the lift. I have dark hair and I use it in my roots. It lifts to a golden brown with 40 volume for 40 minutes. I put a plastic bag or disposable shower cap on to let the heat from my head help accelerate it. I used to pay hundreds to get my highlights done . I started using this in between monthly salon visits to save money. Bleach will Lift you hair to a lighter color than this. You can tone down with a 10 volume.
