Rated 5 out of 5 by from The color I want without the BURN! This is one of the very few permanent hair colors that does NOT burn my scalp! The color is consistent and leaves my hair, colored, shiny and easy to manage. Covers my grays very well too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too dark I have used the hair color 6RN for years and the last two boxes have been way too dark almost a brown! Different formula? What is the next lighter auburn?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product, color darker than what I thought... I like this product. It mixes well and goes on smooth, for a non-professional to use. I would not consider 3N to be a Medium Neutral Brown. It's neutral but definitely more of a Dark Brown. There's the possibility it could be my hair, but my old brand was Medium Brown and it was a true medium brown color. Regardless, I like how it looks and recommend it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again I used this color with the developer that I was supposed to and my hair is now red. I wanted cool blonde and my hair is red. OMG I have never had a reaction to any color and this one I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Great way to purchase this product. I order several at a time and they are at my door in no time. I don't have to worry that the store doesn't have my color or more than one at a time. Don't think I will purchase them any other way. Product is great - have used for quite a long time.

I have brown hair and am trying to cover grey. I ordered the 3N color. What developer do I need to mix with it.

Asked by: KAmy1993
I know this is an old question, but just in case this comes up again... I'm a pro and I've used this product for my main color line since it was first sold - 25 to 30 years maybe, because I find it to be the best gray coverage without the hair looking "dyed". It leaves natural high and low lights in the hair and a soft healthy feel. As it pertains to the above question- 20 volume is always the industry standard lift and deposit, cover the gray fall back developer level. 10 volume gives very little lift, almost deposit only, like a demi permanent color, and 40 volume lifts too high for almost anything but a high lift blonde, or a specialty application best done by a pro. There is NO reason to use it with a 3N which is a deep brunette or even levels 4,5, or 6. When the deposited pigment begins to fade, you will often have an ugly orange brown under there because the natural hair is over lightened

Do you have 8GN and 7N available? As I am unable to see them on the website.

Asked by: Beachin1
I cannot find my color, 7A either. I visited a store earlier this week and she said they stopped carrying that color, but had it in the liquid form.
