DISCLAIMER: None More Black was conceived to work well mixing with our other colors, so the violet undertone provides depth when mixed. In order to remove the violet and create a truer black, we recommend adding a small amount of Kowabunga to cancel out the violet coloring.

  • 1. Lighten Hair (apply bleach as directed).

    2. Rinse, shampoo (do not condition) and dry.

    3. Apply the dye and get creative with it.

    4. Process for 30 minutes (at least).

    5. Rinse with cool water, dry and style.

  • Our colors look best on Level 10 (platinum blonde) hair

The longer a color sits, the bolder it gets.

Rinse with cool water to retain color.

Mix colors to create your own custom shade. None More Black works great to make darker tones.

Our darker colors will add a tint to darker hair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! The color pay off is amazing! & what I loved the most is I didn’t have to wash it for a long time until the water runned clear.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from peach fuzz Beautiful color but the dye is way too thick. I have hair 4 inches past my collar bone and it took 4 just to cover it and lots of time. One of the bottles was clearly darker than the others as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vibrant Color, Great Results I bought Riot (orange) and colored my hair last week. It was not platinum blonde like they recommended, but I mixed 30 vol developer with the color and left it on for an hour and the results were amazing! It also smelled really good, and didn't stain my skin or my white sink. I use Kera Color Clenditioner in Copper to upkeep the color, and it looks fresh every single day!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT RECOMMEND I bought the pink puff color and when I first opened the bottle this had no pigment at all it looked like straight shampoo so obviously did nothing for my hair...My hair was already pastel pink but the color was starting to fade so decided to try this brand!! Never again!! sooo pricey and just a waste of my time and money all it did was made my hair feel really frizzy and ugly

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not feelin it It definitely has a blue tint so you dont get that deep black shine. It seems a little dull actually. It looked very strange while i was rinsing it out also. It got the job done i guess but it wasnt great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fall Sunflower Hair Beautiful & vibrant color! I love it. I wanted my hair to resemble a sunflower & with the red fade on my roots this did the job perfectly.

Does this dye stain hair? If yes how bad?

Asked by: skye804v
Manic panic stains worse - if you need to strip the colour out it is fairly easy to get good dye young out!

A friend uses your raspberry semi-permanent colour, I don't see it here?

Asked by: pinkrianbow
The official Good Dye Young site doesn't have any info about that color. It may have been discontinued or maybe your friend is using a custom mix or a color from a different brand (Beyond the Zone Color Jamz has a color called Raspberry Kamikaze, is that the one?).

I have 85% gray hair naturally if I use the peach color will it cover the gray or do I still have to use the lightber and then color?

Asked by: Anonymous
Well it depends on a few things... How dark is your grey, is it silvery or like steel grey. You have to imagine mixing your grey like paint with the colour of semi permanent or toner, both of which are not permanent. If it covers most of your grey it will start to wash out with every shampoo so you're only going to get a blend. Then lightening your hair will permanently lighten it...to a yellowy blonde. So consider then you will be locked into adding colour until you grow out the light part. Without knowing your goal, consider a toner or semi permanent closer to your natural hair. Do a test strand. Then go further if you still want to. Hope that helps!

So my hair is currently a faded black and my roots are dark blonde (my natural color.) I've only ever used box dye and I'm trying to switch to a vegan dye. Artic Fox fades too quickly, so I was wondering how well this product would work on my hair?

Asked by: Wednesday009
The sturdiness of semi-permanent dye depends heavily on the color/shade (because each shade is made with different ingredients) and your hair's porosity. That said, Good Dye Young is usually about twice as sturdy as Arctic Fox in fast-fade colors like blue and pink.

Can I mix color to get neon green?

Asked by: Me999999
You could potentially mix the yellow and green options for neon green. I would suggest a 1:2 ratio of green (1) to yellow (2)
