Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hide's roots between coloring's My mother used this over 30 years ago, I've been using it for 10 years to hide gray roots between coloring's. The original formula was lighter feeling and didn't weight down your hair. A new company bought Roux and changed the formula, bottle and top. I hate the new tops, they push down to easily. The old tops were pointed and easier to use at the roots. The old formula covered gray better. Even so, this is the only thing I've found to cover roots. They make a mousse also, but it colors your scalp. If you need to hide roots this is the better choice, just shake it well and you may need to put it on several times for the color to stay. I wish the company would bring back the old formula and bottle top!! I've emailed them several times, but have yet to get a response!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work. Did not color my dark blond hair and deposited a sticky film on my hair. Color only worked on my skin. Very disappointed after reading all the positive reviews that this product worked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed Bought this at the recommendation of the Sally's employee who said she used it herself. Unfortunately, the stuff won't stick to my hair but went to my scalp. Way to liquidy for my hair and my hair is a thin shaft with oily skin and hair. Just would not stick to the hair itself. I gave it to a friend to try as her hair is thicker and rougher than mine. She will let me know if it works for her later.

I have medium brown hair and I’m looking for a white temporary hair dye for Halloween. I’m dressing up as Harley Quinn. Which one would you recommend?

Asked by: Alyssa636
This will not work.  If you have yellowish white hair, it will make it look whiter.  It will not work on brown hair.  I use Ilver Linings to make my white hair a silvery gray. Of you want white on your hair, get some L’Oréal Colorista 1-day temporary birthday color.  It’s a spray on.  Try Silver.  I actually use it on my hair for silver highlights.  It’s really pretty.

What is whiter?  White Minx 52 or Ultra white minx 49

Asked by: Penny Loosen
52 I would say is a little lighter because it will tone more yellow temporary. Both will do the job of keeping it white. It will not bleach it depending on what everyone is looking for though.

I died my hair blonde and the middle- bottom range of my hair is very light white/ silvery blonde which I like, but close to my roots it is very yellow/orangy. Which color is best to get rid of the brasiness and blend it with the rest of my hair?

Asked by: Lessss16
Am not a stylist but you might wish to try Fanciful rinse which gives you an ash blond tone. It could tone down that brassiness which often occurs when one color's their own hair. Just add the products to your roots and see if you like the results. I'd also choose another semi-permanant coloring product for next time.

Will this give blonde highlights to black hair? If not , what is best product that is temporary for blonde highlights on dark hair????

Asked by: Wendydibbs5
This is not the product for you this will not lighten your hair there is not a product that is made to temporary lighten hair you must lighten with a bleach or maybe some type of spray on color or a few clip in hair extensions consult with a hairdresser in your area

Purple but it doesn’t make your hair purple unless you use too much.
