  • Vibrant, long-lasting, fade-resistant results Long-lasting, true-to-tone color Economical 1:2 mix ratio
Wella Color Charm Permanent Liquid Hair Toner with Liquidfuse Technology saturates, penetrates and fuses with the hair to deliver vibrant color that is exceptionally fade resistant. The extra mild formulation is ideal for creating delicate shades of blonde – like platinum and beige and neutralizing unwanted warmth after lightening. Great for toning pure double processed blondes.
  • Pre-lighten the hair to desired level before applying toner. Mix 1 part Wella Color Charm toning color with 2 parts 20 volume Wella Color Charm developer. Apply to towel dried hair then, develop for up to 30 minutes. Check frequently to see if desired results are achieved.
  • You can customize the toner formula by intermixing shades. For example, if you want a shade that is in between an ash tone and a warm tone, try mixing equal parts of T-18 and T-14 with equal parts of T-11 or T-35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I used the number 10 developer and put it on for 15 minutes. If your hair is super brassy, maybe wait 20-30 minutes. But it's wonderful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wella 050 Bought the toner last week at my local Sally’s. I had tried to bleach 3 inches of new growth and ended up with hot roots. The roots were a lemon yellow and rest were orange. I used the 050 toner to tone down the orange. I used vol 10 developer and left it in for 30 minutes. It knocked out the orange and changed to a medium brown color. I had highlights throughout my hair and they’re a pretty silvery grey color.

I have bleached & toned 4” of new growth twice. Using 30 vol for the bleach, 20 for toner. Did everything the packages said and my hair is still yellow/brassy. I’m using a purple shampoo and a purple mask. Why is it still yellow and how do I fix it?

Asked by: Mommyjo4
I would definitely consult a professional. What color was your natural roots? Bleaching with 30 developer should be enough to lighten to a light yellow and then the toner you should be using the ash blonde toner T18 with the 20 Volume developer. Leave on the purple shampoo for an hour on your roots before washing it out I find that really helps if I do that once a week.

Can I use this product alone with a developer?

Asked by: Lewser911
Only if you have pre bleached hair.  Toners are made to color bleached hair.

Hi! I have dark brown coloured hair that I would like to lighten to light brown hair. Could you recommend a way to do this, please?

Asked by: Salikins
You can try to use the ION bleach its actually not a bleach but it turns your hair up to 8 shades lighter and leave it on until you get the color you want then tone it, I am not a professional at all but by my experience with helping my whole family dying hair that is what I would do or I would bleach it and buy the color I want and have a toner on hand just in case.

Does toner work on non-colored, virgin hair? My natural hair color is brassy/coppery and I want to tone down the brassiness but obviously don’t want to dye my hair first to tone it.

Asked by: Logan941
No, it will not change your un color treated hair.

I have some low lights of red in my hair color but am really looking to get the brass out of my blonde. I’m just worried as to what it will do to the red in my hair

Asked by: Michelle34
Unfortunately, it will remove a lot of brass in that just the same.

I have dark brown hair and i went to the hairdresser for caramel highlights but she gave me golden highlights instead with harsh beginning lines..how can i turn the highlights to caramel color or at least blend it with the rest of my hair?

Asked by: Blablabla666
A. Go back to the hairdresser and have her adjust it for you. B. Have another hairdresser adjust it for you. C. Apply T18 or T14 to only the blonde pieces and NOT TO YOUR SCALP. Have someone help you. Use 10 vol or lower. Watch it until it changes color (a bluish/grayish 5 to 10 minutes) it will counter the gold. If you're unsure, refer to "A" and "B"

Recently colored my hair with semi permanent ion cyan dye. Trying to get rid of it, I’ve been using crushed vitamin C and Head and Shoulders. I have almost a platinum blood underneath the blue. Can I use t18 to get rid of the rest of the blue?

Asked by: Madi2017
No, you have to bleach the blue areas first, then Tone with the T18 mixed with a Sandy Beige to avoid too much Blue or Violet, but still getting it back to very light blonde. Try a "bleach wash" if you don't want to fully bleach. There's lots of good recipes, just Google the recipe. Try that first on those blue areas. If it doesn't work, you can think about actual bleach. If you get the blue super light, you may also be able to tone the rest of your hair a cool blonde and then use a different bright (I'd say deep violets or even pink). It could give you a blonde to Violet pink bayalage type of thing. If you're married to all blonde, bleach until pale yellow and then just tone as usual.
