I didn't give 5 stars because the first time I tried to order it didn't go thru. I probably should have given 3 stars since I can no longer get this in store. I've used feather switch blades for years and now they're no longer carrying them?

Have loved this brand since 1984! Great shears!
I have used Feather Switchblade shears since 1984 and I still love them!!! I actually still have my original switchblade 55 shears and even after having numerous pairs of shears, these are still the best I have ever used. The convenience of buying new blades is wonderful...don't have to wait for the guy to come and sharpen my blades. These shears are incredible and once you use them, you won't want any others!

Can I still get the switchblade replacement blade s to fit the 40/45 shears?
Yes. You may have to order them.

My feather shears are the 45, will the 55 replacement blades fit? Or, do you still have the 45?
No. They will not, unfortunately, I tried them on my 45’s and they did not cut well at all. I had to take them back and get the 45’s.

How do I know what size of feather blade I need to buy to replace the ones I have on my scissors now?
Look on your scissors right above the screw it has a size on it ,my has feather 55. That is your blade size.
