Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I bought these for my mom. She is a beautician but hasn't renewed her license in a while but still cuts hair for my husband and my dad and whoever asks her to. I didn't know anything about sissors but apparently I did good. She loves them and says they cut great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Shears I bought this for my boyfriend to help trim his beard and mustache. It's just perfect!! I'm glad I checked Sally's to see what they had in stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase I was in desprate need of buying a new pair of basic, sharp sheers that were not to expensive (since im not a professional) After spending 15 mins in the store comparing these to more expensive brands I said what the heck and bought these. Im so glad I did. They are very sharp and provide a clean cut. I used them to cut off my dead ends and they worked like a charm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bye Bye Split Ends Purchased these solely for the purpose of trimming split ends if necessary in between salon visits. These are cheap compared to other shears and are good quality for at home use. They're sharp and make an accurate cut. This is the perfect size...not too big, but not too small where i feel like my fingers are being strangled. I'd definitely recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Purchase These shears are a lot like the ones that come in the box with hair clippers, but they are sharper. The price for these shears I think is a little more than it should be. Overall the shears were a good buy and I just wish I had chosen the 6 inch ones instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Good I guess for the price these are okay shears... I used these to put some fringe and layers through my hair the other day ... while using the snipping motion going down on my hair it wasn't as smooth as my older even cheaper shears are... but I think they might just need broken in... all in all these are perfect for trimming the ends... :)

I just ordered my first wig and saw a you tube video on how to cut 'dirty bangs' so I'm looking for the right shears to use. Can you tell me the best type to use?

Asked by: Dori J 26
I am a stylist and personally I use a razor on wigs. Not shears. Its so much easier and precise. Hopefully others can chime in here with their experience in wig cutting and tell you which "shear" to choose for wigs.

How do you sharpen these when needed?

Asked by: TinaAnonymous
Take or send them to a professional sharpening service. NEVER cut through anything but hair with your shears, it will ruin the blades!

Is this item good for trimming around the ears ?

Asked by: Joe Ando
Yes....they are sharp & precise at first. Only problem is the sharpness only lasts a few cuts. I would not recommend getting these.

Are these good for cutting inches off of hair ??

Asked by: Nanc1234
I used these to trim my hair and they worked really well. They are very sharp so I would believe they would work wonderfully cutting a couple inches off your hair
