Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute garbage Brush clumped up on the first coat on the first nail! Couldn't do my manicure with this crap, even after getting a new brush. Would not recommend

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Asp #2 This product amazing when used in the set! Only down falls would be it gets thick and unusable quick. Also, even when you clean it before you close it, it sets up and sometimes its impossible to open the lid so you lose about half the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase. Worked well with my other brands since I list my step 2 container. Slightly less thick of an applicator but I am pleased by discovering this new brand option.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not sure what I think... I bought this kit and I'm having a bit of trouble with it.. it wants to Harden before I have my whole nail covered... don't know what to do. I love the rest of the kit though. not sure if I would recommend it or not..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dries fast and streaks Used ProDip but you don’t carry it anymore. It’s so much better. This Quick Dip starts to dry before I get the second coat on. I have to clean the brush after 3 nails or it gets clumpy and hard. It takes forever to get a smooth streak free finish. Not a fan but not another option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Step 2 I have tried! I have tried different brands of dip liquids and I always go back to ASP Quick Dip Nail Base & Top Gel. I always get a smooth application and the gel doesn't get thick or stringy like other brands. The best tip I can share is ALWAYS wipe your brush on a paper towel before putting it back into the bottle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent product, a bit overpriced Seems to be an ok product for the one I can use. I ordered two, however, one of them I am unable to open so I’m not sure how long these have sat in a warehouse prior to shipping out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh, it gets the job done It’s really great for getting the powder to stick but it can’t be used as a top coat if you want a shiny top coat. After the first use it has patchy areas that are shiny. Luckily I like how weird it looks with file scratches instead of shiny but if I was trying for a shiny top coat I would have been upset with this. It’s def cheaper than getting your nails professionally done so I’d still buy it again.

What's the best way to store it for it not to get clogged and not able to use it more than a few times

Asked by: Anonymous
Honestly, no idea. I would say just be careful to make sure you don’t get spillage when wiping the brush. I have had to use a nutcracker to open it again! Hope that helps!

I love this base, however after each time I do my nails the bottle becomes glued shut. Any tips??

Asked by: Schmidke01
After you are all done - - Clean the top of the bottle (neck area) with acetone on a cotton swap before sealing it up! The acetone will remove the excess and it will open easily the next time you need to use it!

What kind of brush is it? where can i find replacement brushes? what material is it? The brush is very smooth

Asked by: dfhfhdhf
You can find replacement brushes online but not sure if they have ASP specific tops so be careful on which top you find and make sure it fits these bottles.

Can I use Step 2 alone as a top coat to “refresh” the shine of SNS nails done in the salon? Or must I use Step 3? I’m exceptionally hard on my nails and need a top coat after a week.

Asked by: Tormenta
I actually use a top coat on top of step three and it helps maintain my nails for two weeks.

When I apply this as a top coat, it doesn't look shiny. What can I do to fix this issue?

Asked by: amandap2493
Just use a clear polish. I colored polish too. Sally never has the refill base and top. Wouldn't have bought the kit if I'd known that. Went back twice and it had never come it, said warehouse must be out and they would only send a few bottles at a time. Something different, and not from Sally

I have bought about 3 bottles of this however the last couple I have not been happy with.  The bristles on the brush get completely stiff after applying to only a couple of nails so the rest are streaky and the second hand looks terrible. Any suggestions?

Asked by: LIVL2007
Try cleaning it out after each swipe. It collects the powder on it. And once it touches the activation liquid it will begin to harden. Clean after the swipes. Or before going to the next nail. Also if it gets too stiff soak it in acetone nail polish remove for a little while. Then rub it with a towel or paper towel. This will remove all remaining powder.
