Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not, I repeat do not buy this!! It is not as easy as it looks and this is not a good product. You have to have special tools to apply this dip and make it look okay... I will be returning mine tomorrow and I would not waste $40 on it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice results - takes getting used to I bought this last week and did my nails for the first time using a dip. I have never done nails excepting painting mine every other day because the polish comes off easily. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to do them. I did have some overflow of the bond on my nails and the powder stuck giving an odd shape. But this is just a learning curve. I have had some dryness after the filing so I'm going to pick up some cuticle oil. I was able to file them down easily and I think they look great for my first time. The colors offered in the kit are not for me, but I'm pleased with the process and product and will buy colors in my choice. Prepping of the nail first is most important. I have had them for a week and have had no lifting or cracking. I'm looking forward to saving so much money on my nails!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st time dipping nails at home My 1st time trying dip nails at home and this has everything you need. I'm still working on my technique (watching lots of YouTube videos), but the powders are nice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time user I bought this a couple of weeks ago and this is my first time using dip on my nails. The kit was easy to use and it helped a lot to watch YouTube videos. It also helps a lot if you are all ready pretty good at painting your own nails. I have it on for 2 weeks now and they started lifting (normal for me) but have not chipped at all!! I’m now looking into getting more colors! It’s a great way to diy nails at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations I am quite impressed with this kit. After going to salons and my nails always lifting after 2-3 days, this stuff lasted and lasted. I am so happy with the results. The two colours it kit comes with are very nice, ones a light pink and the other is a classic nude-beige. I just wish the other colour options they have were better. Overall: highly recommend for anyone’s looking to do their own nails. It will save you A LOT of money in the end. ONE TIP: the instructions say to do one nail at a time. As soon as you take your finger out of the powder, to put Step 2 base coat on, and dip again. This didn’t work for me at all, the powder just came off and clumped onto the Step 2 brush. So I do *one hand* at a time, making sure the powder has hardened before I go ahead and lightly brush off the excess powder with a dry brush and apply a 2nd coat of Step 2 and dip my finger again. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to properly apply dip powder and they all do one hand at a time, waiting for the powder to harden on the previous fingers before applying the base coat again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is great!! This is so much easier than the brush on acrylic. I have already used it multiple times to get the right thickness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stays On I’ve gone to the salon to get dip powder done and really liked it so I thought I would gove this a go. While the directions weren’t great with this kit I watched a few youtube videos and have it a go. The first set turned out ok, I need some practice shaping but they have stayed on for a week so far with no lifting. I will definetly be getting more colors to try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Def needs some getting use to but I like to do my own manicures. This was my first time actually adding a tip then the powder definitely takes longer then the nail salon but well worth the savings!

What colors come with it

Asked by: Sc123456
My starter kit came with Petal Pink and Cream Soda to apply a French manicure. I have a neurological disorder which keeps me from sitting still at a salon. It’s much better for me to just do my own. This is the easiest system I’ve ever used!

How do you prevent your nails from getting gummy? Mine turned out really uneven and gummy looking and I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Asked by: Malia111
Sounds like you may have applied the base and top coat (bottle #2) too thick. It’s really important to apply a thin even layer.

When I used my top coat at the end of all the steps, the finish is matte, not shiny? How come? Did I do something wrong?

Asked by: Peggyf19
you need to buff nails with a foam sanding block and make them smooth after top coat from kit has dried, wash hands... THEN USE A TOP COAT THAT YOU WOULD PUT OVER NAIL POLISH OR A LIGHT CURE GEL TOP COAT FOR EXTRA SHINE!

Can this be used over fake nails? ( glue ons )

Asked by: Camillak20
I did it with tips but not full coverage nails.  With the tips, it gives the dip acrylic more surface to bite on to and stay on the nail.  With full coverage nails, you’re only as good as the glue under the nail.

How do u fill them when ur nails grow out can u just fill them or do u have to take it all off

Asked by: Grma81999
you can file down most of the product to get rid of the bulk, and reapply, but if you want to change the color it is best to soak it off. I have done both.
