Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised with Results! I have stopped getting my acrylic nails done but need something on my nails to keep them from tearing. I remembered a friend years ago used silk wraps. I found these but there were so many reviews about glue issues. It really concerned me but I decided to try anyway. I'm not sure what people were doing but I had no glue issues at all. you can't even tell the wraps are on my nails. I can go without polish and no one knows those are on. I'm looking forward to seeing how they work to keep my nails from tearing as they grow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dried out glue - what a waste Bought this last week and the glue was all dried out. Prepped my nails and couldn't do a thing. What a waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked amazingly for me I have developed an allergy to acrylic/gel products. After a bunch of research I found this kit and gave it a try. Zero breakout for me, I thought it was easy to do and lasted a good amount of time for it being a glue base for the builder. I did pair this kit system with glue on tips that typically get used with a full set of acrylics and it added extra strength. I'm a barista, using my hands constantly and always wet. Will continue to use, because I love having nail extensions! Photo is taken after having them on for a week, just applied a new top coat of regular clear polish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wrap Kit This product is excellent for cracked nails.... I’m blessed to be able to grow long nails but they do crack sometimes... I mended 3 that I would of had to cut with this product. I have no experience with this so I just followed the instructions and it was super easy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A Bit Disappointed With excited...I purchased the kit with the plans to repair my right thumbnail & strengthen the remaining 9 for good measure...to my dismay I could barely complete the thumbnail before the glue brush clumped up... dipping in acetone didn't help...will return!

I used the wrap kit for the 1st time last night. My question is can you use any nail glue? The Brush on glue that came with the kit worked well except the brush got rock hard after just a couple of nails. Any tips?

Asked by: Cheryl51
I tried product several years ago and liked it. I put acetone in empty small bottle and dipped brush whenever brush clumped

Can you buy just the brush on glue? Everything seems to last a long time except I always run out of glue first. Now I have 3 bottles of activator and several packages of unopened silk and fiberglass wraps.

Asked by: farmer phyl
The answer is Yes, yes you can buy '-the brush on glue separate from the kit.

I used some of this brush on the other night and it dried instantly! Wasn't sure if I still needed to use an activator after it dries.

I have a lot of wrap resins and activators but this dried so quickly I didn't know if it still needed further activator spray after it dries. I have Asthma and even though I have never had a breathing problem from the activators or gel and resins, it is still better if I don't need to spray after resin is hard.

Yes, activator is required for this product.

Enough for more than one application?

I just took my acrylics off and I'm using several different hardening products but I'd love to do silk and forget it. I'm contemplating buying the items seperate or trying this kit. I'm concerned about the product hardening in the bottle before I use it all and it being a waste of money. My natural nails are rather short and they don't really grow quickly. I'd like to let my nails grow naturally instead of continually using acrylics. Thanks for the help! :)

Yes, there is enough for multiple applications. I tend to get tears in my thumb nails and index finger. You don't have to cover the whole nail. You can also purchase a box with the fiberglass wraps separately. You'll run out of wraps before you run out of glue/activator. My friend (who recommended the product) actually bought the Gel lightless version. She seems to be having less problems with it than I do.
